Feel VIP because of one employee
I would like to acknowledge one employee in particular who has made my stay at the Marriott Athens very special. This is
First morning, our first breakfast, this very pleasant and beautiful employee, I looked on her name tag, Mary-Ann, greeted and smiled on me and my family, welcomed us with a warm hospitality, doing her service from her heart.
She made our stay at this Marriot Athens very special and seems like her family.
She always ask us what we need and make sure we are okay. She goes above and beyond, even the app that I need to download in getting a taxi, tours and hat spots to see in Athens. SHE's the BEST!
If she didn't introduced us her manager, I will assume she is the manager there. Nice meeting your Sir Dimitris. I hope her passion and service is not in vain and she will be rewarded in due time.
My family stayed only four days. During weekend, I guess chaos began, when Mary Ann and managers or upper management weren't there anymore, staffs were at a lost. They do not know what to do. It's a holiday in Greece (April 19-20). I cleaned our own table, no one is looking eye to eye, nobody is assisting us, wherein on our first and second day, Mary Ann treated us VIP even made us our own coffees.
I understand weekend is busy, however, they were just looked and acting rude. Pulling all the table or placemat even tho I am still eating, I got the other girls name tag, Katerina. No smile, removed my plate, even tho I am still sitting and enjoying my coissant, about to spread my jelly. So with my dismayed, I just stood and walked away. Too bad, not everyday there is Mary Ann there.
I am giving 3 stars only for 2days good experience out of 4 days.

Great experience
Everyone was professional and welcoming. The first night we had drinks by the pool. Good service. The room was nice with fruit, cheese and crackers. We had the breakfast buffet. It was the best I’ve ever had. Marios was awesome. We would stay again and highly recommend it.

Great experience
We enjoyed our stay in Athens as the staff are very friendly and accomodating. We especially enjoyed going to the breakfast buffet and loved seeing Mary Ann. She is very friendly and such a happy person. She always made sure we have a good breakfast. It nice to have someone like Mary Ann who makes you feel welcome. Definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Athens Marriott, and Mary Ann truly made it extra special! From the moment we arrived, her warm greeting and lovely smile stood out. Even during the busy breakfast hours, she remained incredibly attentive and made sure every guest was well taken care of. Her dedication to making everyone feel comfortable and satisfied did not go unnoticed. Thanks to Mary Ann, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We hope to see her again on our next visit!
