Paradise
We have been coming back to this resort for 15 years; back when it was once called Cuisinart. There is something special that this resort holds. Once you stay here you realize it and come back year after year. It’s the familiar faces, the exceptional experiences, the amazing staff and the beauty that Anguilla brings to this special place. Some of the amazing staff that we have had over the year is Justin Otto. He makes the guest experience one of a kind. He is always accommodating any requests we may have. We look forward to seeing him every visit. Also, Teresa at the pool sets us up everyday with our chairs without even asking. She’s the best. When we need beach chairs and cocktails Kemi is the guy to ask for.

The people who work here make the place.
As first-rate as every accommodation and aspect of Aurora Anguilla is, what makes the place special are the people on the frontlines who take care of your every conceivable need. I am 56 years-old and have vacationed at several 5-star hotels over the years. I have never experienced better service – anywhere, at any venue (hotel, restaurant, etc.), the lone exception being Aurora’s predecessor Cuisinart (which was as good). If we had any wish or a problem arose, our personal concierge Mirielle was like a genie. It’s as she snaps her fingers and whatever the need, it is immediately met. She makes the response appear that seamless, but it’s because she knows exactly what to do or who to contact and works tirelessly out of sight. From the moment we first arrived, the person who greeted us in front – Justin Time – immediately made us feel taken care of. Justin is a well-spring of ever-flowing positivity, joy, and warmth. He sincerely cares about you and wants you and your family to be happy. He checked on us at least 2x a day. Ijeoma at the front desk was invariably helpful -- remarkably efficient, timely and responsive. Everyone – the restaurant staff, the bartenders, the housekeeping staff, the concierge – is incredibly helpful, responsive, and timely, not to mention unfailingly warm and related persons. Marlon at watersports took us on a great snorkeling trip over on the other side of the bay. Marlon is a generous spirit. He spent considerably more time sailing us around Rendezvous Bay simply because he could - it was the end of the day and no one was waiting to go sailing. We enjoyed his stories about the history of the various venues dotting Rendezvous Bay. The lifeguards at the Water Park and their Supervisor (I think his name is Richard) do a great job striking the right balance between keeping the kids safe and always having smiles on their faces. They work very hard; it does not go unnoticed. My one complaint -- and this is likely the case not just at Aurora but other nice hotels on Anguilla -- is that these extremely hard-working people do not get paid enough. I don’t know exactly what their hourly wages are, but I heard from several reliable sources around the island that they do not get paid much. What all of them do requires skillful means -- an enticing combination of competence and personal qualities -- that in my experience is rare, even at 5-star hotels. Their wages should reflect it.

Unforgettable Family Getaway – Thanks to Justin and the Aurora Team!
From the moment we arrived at the Aurora Golf Resort, we knew we were in for something special. The grounds are stunning, the golf course is immaculate, and the views are picture-perfect—but what truly made our stay exceptional was the level of service we received, especially from the head concierge, Justin Time. Justin was an absolute gem. He took the time to get to know our family, including our kids’ favorite snacks and activities, and made sure every detail of our trip was seamless. From arranging last-minute dinner reservations to organizing a private boat excursion for our family, Justin went above and beyond every step of the way. He checked in with us daily, always with a warm smile and helpful suggestion to make the most of our time. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely committed to making your stay perfect, and Justin did exactly that. Thank you, Justin, and the entire Aurora team for giving us a vacation we’ll never forget. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Windy but wonderful
We were upgraded to a beachfront room (booked resort view) upon arrival which was unexpected, but so appreciated. We stayed at the rendezvous bay side. The resort was not crowded at all and we never had trouble finding pool chairs. Dining reservations were easy to make. The gym and spa facilities were great. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This is a perfect resort for families- there is so much to do between the water park, basketball court, mini golf, bocce ball.

Aurora Anguilla - Cannot wait to go back!
Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club exceeded expectations in every way. Our family had been frequent guests of the property in its first incarnation as CuisinArt and absolutely loved it. The new owners have done a marvelous job in retaining the charm and amazing service while updating and expanding the facilities. The staff of the resort is beyond wonderful. Aurora’s concierge manager, Delvera, was amazing in the pre-planning stages of the trip through email. She arranged our boat transfer from SXM as well as all dinner reservations on and off property. Delvera also suggested and organized a marvelous island excursion by boat charter one of the days which was a highlight of the trip. You are treated as family the moment you arrive at Aurora. Our personal concierge, Justin Time, immediately shared his mobile phone number and was indispensable through the trip, arranging and accommodating any request we had. He was exemplary in every way. Prompt and thorough responses. He is an absolutely amazing concierge. Our room on the Merriwing side was lovely. Clean, open, and airy. Very large bathroom and walk-in closet. A gorgeous patio with stunning views to the beach. We would not hesitate to book this same room for our next stay. The sprawling property has two pools, an extensive water park for the kids, and two beaches. In the past, we visited off-season as we like to avoid crowds, but we were very pleasantly surprised to find the hotel did not feel crowded at all during the height of the spring break season! With ample infrastructure, guests spread out, and there is not the ‘beach chair grab’ going on. The pools, beaches, and restaurants are not overcrowded. The staff in every area of the hotel is beyond wonderful. Zen, Theresa, Monique, Joyce, Claudia…I could go on and on. Every single person is unbelievable in their attention to detail. We were so pleased to find that the greatest asset of this resort remains the same: the unbelievable hospitality, warmth, and care of its people. We cannot wait to return.
