  food needs improving

  Totally agree with a lot of other comments, we went fri 10th January for 4 nights (husband and son played golf in went for the relax around the pool) hotel impressive on arrival, really clean, lovely hotel rooms,spacious, modern, staff really attentative and nice, honestly only thing (a big thing) that takes it from feeling like a 5 star to a 4 star , is the food. it's not that it tasted awful, it didn't, it was all luke warm/cold, it was so odd, even if you waited for it to come straight out of the kitchen, still luke warm, it was so off putting. if we'd have been there for more than 4 nights I think we would've been eating out (we were all inclusive) the diner was great for lunch , but dreaded breakfast and dinner, such a shame and hopefully can be sorted . but everything else great.

  AMAZING HOTEL AND STAFF!

  My family and I decided to take a big trip to celebrate NYE! I can honestly say we made the best decision coming to the Bahia Fantasia! It was amazing! The entertainers were the best! Very kind, funny and entertaining! A few have turned into life long friends such as Jorge, Felipe, Ray, Sandy, and Patrizia! Thank you for making our holidays so much more fun and giving my kids so much love and attention! The restaurants were great, and the food was very tasty! I can’t pick just one staff that was amazing because they all were! They were very polite and helpful! Shout out to Leonardo! The rooms were great, very clean and spacious for a family of 4. I would highly recommend this hotel if you have a family! Again, thank you to Jorge, Felipe, Sandy, Ray, and Patricia for making this trip so entertaining!

  Not clean .. poor service

  A terrible resort and experience. Not clean at all. My son got hands foot mouth disease. Other than good food and shows for kids its terrible. Was on 3rd floor with 2 strollers no elevator. My child baby crib had mold. No service from staff . Mosquitoes bites . They don't spray grounds. As a bahia member this is worse bahia I been too.

  Nightmare Vacation!

  Before travelling I was told by Rosa (Family Concierge) that my bookings didn’t exist, therefore I couldn’t book restaurants or online check in, and I got a lot of stress as nobody could fix the problem and confirm my bookings, I did a hundred calls and sent same amount of emails, but there was no customer service. Upon arrival, after a very long flight the reception was full and there was just one receptionist, it took us more than an hour to get checked in, with a baby on hands and 4 sleepy children, once we got the rooms everything was dirty and the smell of humidity was very strong, we couldn’t find a clean thing, the bed linen, towels, the room, bathroom everything was dirty, the minibar was too… we went back to reception just to find the busy receptionist dealing with everything, I called for a manager assistance but I was told I needed to wait on the line until the receptionist is free to help… after a very long waiting we got to se 4 other rooms, all dirty too, at the end we got to speak with the manager on duty who ask us to wait, he inspected 2 rooms and gave the list to the receptionist to send us there, we asked to see the room first and the answer was that we just wanted to lose our time as he inspected it… he just left after that, we wet to inspect the room with a bellboy, one of this rooms had the floor full of water (probably from the minibar) and the second was occupied by other guests…. After that and already at 3am we gave up and went to the rooms to stay for the night just requested clean towels and blankets… we did our beds by ourselves and we took shower on a very dirty bathroom, ordered room service and there was no beer, they forgot to bring the ordered juices and they didn’t have French fries for the order, we got a club sandwich that at this hotel is an egg sandwich, the food was not edible, already 4am so we went to sleep tired and hungry just to be awaken at 7:30am by the maids with a lot of noises, shouting and laughing, like there was no one in there sleeping, we decided we needed to leave the hotel but couldn’t arrange a transportation for the same day so we stayed one extra night, the service was awful everywhere we went, the restaurant Rodizzio las Olas was very bad, the meat was cold and very hard, not to say the service that forgot to bring a high chair and therefore we ate with the baby on hands… many other things happened, like cockroaches at the buffet (by the bread), in the room, at the Concierge desk and everywhere we went, from 4 nights book, we got the suffering stay 2… we ask for a refund but the hotel refused it, they will only honor the 2 nights we didn’t use, after almost a month, we are still waiting… no customer service at all! If you want to eat, sleep and relax during your vacation in a clean and well maintained hotel, definitely you shouldn’t book Bahia Principe Hotels, there you can only get sick!   Amazing family vacation

  First time traveling to an all inclusive with our 5 and 6 year old. The resort far exceeded our expectations. The food and entertainment were exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and provided amazing service. The ladies at the kids club were fabulous and worked hard all day and all throughout the evening. They’re always smiling and engaging. Big thank you to Karina, Breidy, Ruth, Caty, Wendy, Ana, Carolin, Leo, diosa and yoly All restaurants we tried were delicious. Big thank you to Katherine from the circus restaurant for the excellent service. We will definitely return for another family vacation. TIP for travellers- avoid the privilege club. That was the only uncomfortable part of our trip. We agreed to attend a 60 minute meeting but had to leave after way through because our children were bored and moody. The staff at the PC was very aggressive about us leaving and tried to guilt us into staying by saying he would lose his job if we left. If you’re approached by someone from the privilege club do yourself a favour and walk away - it’s not worth the 80$ gift voucher.
