Worst resort I ever go.
Worst resort I ever go. The food is terrible , Snack bar don't even have snack pass 10pm. I eat better in Holguin ,Cuba. Really far from the beach and all activities or expeditions. Renovation on the site at 1am is inconsiderable. The drink taste nothing or to mush the alcool. 90% of the staff don't even know what is a Cuba Libre. Save money and go to a real good resort like Occidendat X Caret !!

Amazing family vacation
If you are a positive person who is looking forward to an amazing trip and you aren't going into this vacation with the mindset of nit picking every single tiny thing then this is an amazing resort and don't let the badreviews scare you! First off, the upgrade is worth the money to have access to all the resorts so I would highly recommend doing that!! The food is amazing, the grounds are breathtaking, they work so incredibly hard to keep the grounds as pristine as they are and it certainly shows! There is a lot of wildlife which my family thoroughly enjoyed, however, if you look at wildlife as pests, or an inconvenience, or dirty, than this isn't the resort for you. but if you enjoy wildlife, then it's super cool to see. The pools are not heated not even the children's pool, which is totally fine. On really hot days it's so refreshing!!! But days where it's very overcast or cooler the pools were quite cold swim in. The beaches were beautiful, but they were a little bit rocky but if you have water shoes then it's not an issue! There are so many fish, which is really cool if you are into snorkelling!! The trollies were super convenient and we travelled with a double stroller so we needed a bigger trolly to travel from resort to resort, and even with us having to wait for select trollies that we could fit in, We didn't find it very long to wait for a trolley. Tips: - upgrade your bracelets to get access to all resorts - book a La cartes on their app 10 days in advance - buffets are so plentiful and hot at the beginning of meal times! So if that matters to you then go near the opening hours vs 30 mins before it closes. Great resort would be back again!!

BEWARE OF THE REFUND POLICY
BEWARE OF THE REFUND POLICY!!! I made a deposit to hold my reservation (labelled fully refundable) and then changed to another property about an hour later (you read that correctly, same day) and after receiving a cancelation confirmation, have STILL not gotten my money back two months later! Beware!

Scammed on holiday!
My partner and we’re scammed big time here by the doctor in this hotel. Cut a very long story short my partner and I got chest infections whilst out here. We needed antibiotics and asked this of the doctor. She basically said she couldn’t treat and would have to go to the local hospital. We said we didn’t need a hospital just some antibiotics and she ordered us an ambulance to take us to hospital. Loads of different people speaking a language we don’t know pushing us into this ‘ambulance. It was a van with a Mexican guy that couldn’t speak any English. We told the doctor again we didn’t need any of this and she said if we didn’t get the right treatment we wouldn’t be able to fly home. Got to the hospital and they wanted $6000 to give us the treatment we apparently need. The doctors there wanted to keep us overnight and tried to make out we were dangerously ill. I have had chest infections before and that’s what we had. We got ourselves a taxi to the hotel without medication. Managed to get some antibiotics from the original hotel doctor and flew home a few days later. Now we are home we are having Mexican hospital debt collectors chasing us for a total of $4000 for the medical care received and the ambulance costs. Absolutely disgusting.

Budget hotel, not 4 star as advertised
After picking this hotel from the reviews I honestly don’t know how it has so many good reviews. Arriving at the hotel front desk and lobby area looks amazing, walking in to my room and seeing the squalor was shocking. I was overwhelmed with the smell of damp and mould and so disappointed. It was 10.30pm at night so put my sadness down to tiredness, surely it’s gotta look better in the morning. In morning light I found mould on my pillows and curtains, electrical sockets hanging off, dirt and footprints on the floors and hair in the bathtub. It took 2 days to get a room change which still smelt but didn’t have mould on curtains. Food - tasted nice but out of 7 days only got one hot meal, the rest of the time it was cold, unless you’re saving money in the air it’s hard to get a drink or have one replenished. I did tip however unless you’re giving £10 a time, you will be left until staff have finished with the big tippers, I was a solo traveller and saw that others were getting table service in the outside bar, I asked if I could have a drink as I didn’t want to lose my chair and was told there is no table service then they proceeded to take orders from the group next to me. al a carte was a nice change, 2 out of 3 was hot and tasty and the service was amazing. Pool was closed on a couple of occasions due to guests puking in the pool, heavy drinking crowds (I have no issue with this I am not a pool person) around the pool and swim up bar taking shots and downing drinks until they puke. I cannot fault the grounds and the wildlife it really is lovely. Location is very remote you cannot walk anywhere unless it’s along the motorway. As with most all inclusive hotels, shops are very expensive so take your own snacks with you and toiletries. Most staff were very friendly and always said hello cannot fault their friendliness, especially if your a big tipper.
