We have stayed at Barceló Bávaro Beach - Adults Only - before and we loved it then and we loved it as much this second stay. The staff goes out of their way to make sure your stay is the best one you can have.

quiet place and amazing bed
I stayed in the adults only section and it was simply perfect, if you are looking for peace and quiet and a more relaxed crowd :) I would definitely go back!

Spent 5 nights at Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adults Only with a friend. Overall, had a great time. Here is the breakdown: PROS 99% of the staff was extremely professional, friendly and nice. The beach is gorgeous - warm water, clear blue, soft sand, calm waters, saw some small fish The pool is large, clean and quiet Room had small balcony Room was spacious, clean and quiet Took an Uber from airport for only $20 each way (beware of scammers and trust noone at the airport) Chill vibe Not crowded Everything is open air Bed and pillows were comfy Felt safe CONS No music at the pool (there is music at the Palace pool though) No live music anywhere (there are shows and activities in the theatre each night) The rooms are a bit worn - could use an update Food is just so-so but we found plenty of food we liked No swim up bar Notes: Make restaurant reservations in Guest Services as soon as you arrive Ubers are not allowed into the resort to take you back to the airport. But, we complained enough that they allowed us to do it We each brought a small inflatable floatie which was super nice in the ocean

It is a great place to spend time with friends. We had an incredible vacation there. Definitely an excellent option to get out of the routine, make friends and see new places. Angel the guy at the reception, excellent attention. Everything was great, thank you very much!
