Jan 14, 2025Waste of money - Think twice about booking this place.
Went with my family ( 6 of us - all adults ) So many things went wrong. ( which we told the front desk) No hot water, none of the faucets worked in the tub area. The air conditioner always leaked at the our front door, had to put towels down so we didnt fall. Will never go to the Caribe again. Spent alot of money for poor service, food wasnt great and entertainment during the day - THERE WAS NONE !!! Think twice about booking this place.

The hotel is fantastic. Great food, friendly staff, and lots of chairs in the pool and beach areas. All common areas are perfect clean.

The resort was beautiful and lots to do with the kids. We went for Christmas. The breakfast was good but the buffets were not at all. The workers lack communication and they fail to tell you if you don't make reservations at the restaurant when you first arrive, you will be stuck eating at the buffets. We could not get a wash rag or face towel. So bring your own. If you are there for the alcohol, the drinks are watered down so get just the liquor with a chaser on the side. My kids had fun but I wouldn't vist this hotel again.

Jan 11, 2025Booked 2 queen beds and was about to receive 1 king bed.
I booked a room with 2 queen bed for 4. Upon arrival, I was told that there were no more rooms available and received a 1 kind bed. I was told to accommodate my children (19 and 17) on the sofa and extra bed. Resolution was terrible. They insisted to give me that room. I insisted more and ended up getting the room with 2 queen beds. But it took way longer than I would expect by a hotel like this.

Barcelo Maya Caribe
My family and I enjoyed our Holiday vacation at this property. The service was impeccable and everyone was so friendly. The rooms should be refurbished but for a short stay, it was fine. The food wasn't always served hot unless you arrived right at opening. The pool and pool bar was great. All in all, we enjoyed our time.
