We had high hopes for this trip. It was for our 25th anniversary. We did not realize that this place was very child oriented. So many children for very few spaces available. We have never been to a resort that was this full. Had to wake up before 7 am to hopefully to get a chair by the pool or beach The food at best was okay and usually cold at the buffet at the palace Lots of selection but I like my food warm not cold. Al la carte dinners were a hit or miss. Brasserie was quite good and the service was lovely Other places not so much I would not return. I have been to better places in other countries where the staff and food are much better

Our family and friends vacation to the Barceló Palace has been wonderful so far! Good food, wonderful weather and clean, comfortable accommodations. Highly recommend purchasing the premiere package for the extra perks. Rosa Ramirez (our server at the palace pool) was outstanding!

Great service at the Palace pool
Rosa Ramirez was our server at the Palace pool and provided exceptional service! She was very friendly and courteous. Our overall experience at the Barceló palace has been great. Wonderful weather, good food and great company. Highly recommend purchasing the premier package.

Wonderful poolside service!!
Rosa Ramirez was absolutely amazing!!!! She’s so fast and nice. We all looked forward to seeing her each day of our trip. Can’t wait to come back and find our favourite lady!! (Poolside at the palace) come she her is your want an elevated experience:)

Rosa the waitress
Rosa Ramirez is absolutely amazing, she was our waitress at the place pools and I cannot thank her enough for her kind smile and prompt service! We were at the palace for 7 days and she was with us the entire time, great trip. Would be back and would recommend to go find her!
