Had a great customer service experience. Casandra Rodriguez was very polite and extremely helpful. She patiently answered all of our questions and gave us great suggestions to enhance our experience. I traveled with my 2 little girls and Barceló provided accommodation such as providing a crib.

Mismaloya beach is undeniably beautiful. Barcelo Resort is average and could use maintenance, food and customer service upgrades. That said, those amenities come with a cost. Barcelo Resort is a budget-friendly alternative and certainly benefits from it's unparalleled surrounding natural beauty.

Premium bar experience
Cesar in the premium bar is amazing. Friendly, welcoming, and personable. Definitely make it a point to stop in for a drink! There is also a small food buffet available that has something for everyone, and a cappuccino machine, which are both kept up with perfectly.

Amazing
The food here wasn’t the best just mediocre. Cesar at the premium lounge was amazing! Always had a smile on his face and a great demeanor. The views from 2620 was absolutely amazing!! We really enjoyed our balcony and hope to return again. Beautiful location.

Barcelo resort puerto Vallarta
First I don’t think I’d consider this a four star resort the actual hotel is showing its age and is a bit dated and in need of updating. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and in a very pretty location right on the beach, we enjoyed the pool area especially the kids pool with the slide for our four year old., although It could get a little noisy and rowdy at times. The worst part of this resort and why we would never come back or recommend it is because of the food. The food is really bad. The breakfast buffet is decent and the snack bar with the taco bar and wood fire pizza was ok but the snack bar is only open until 2:00, the rest of the food is really not very good at al, the other annoying thing is that they have four specialty restaurants for dinner but even though we were all inclusive we only got a limited amount of vouchers to eat at them, (we were not told this until we were checking in) so we stayed 9 nights and they only gave us 4 dinner vouchers for our family so the other 5 nights that leaves the only option for dinner was the buffet which was really horrible for dinner, so it didn’t really feel like an all inclusive after all, because the dinner buffet was so bad we several times ended up walking to the condos next door to the mismaloya grill to eat which the food their is very good. The resort seemed clean and our room was very clean. Some of the staff was very friendly but overall this resort didn’t have the friendliest of vibes. The beach area was very pretty, and there was plenty of beach chairs to lounge in. One night they put on a Disney show that was fun and our four old loved it. So there was some nice things about this resort that we enjoyed but for the price that we payed we felt pretty disappointed so over all we wouldn’t come back to it or recommend it
