Jan 16, 2025Go, but read this first.
It took me awhile to make this review because I had to gather my thoughts about my experience. It was overall good; mainly because of the people and experience. The resort itself leaves something to the imagination. As I said previously, the people I met and the staff were great. All of the wait staff, food service workers, front desk staff, and bartenders were very warm and hospitable. The actual resort tho? You could not allow the key cards to touch anything electronic (phones, tablets, outlets, etc). This includes having your phone and card in your beach bag at the same time, no matter how big the bag. If you did, your card wouldn’t work and you would have to go back to the front desk for them to reprogram it. This happened multiple times throughout my stay. You would think could grab one of the many staff walking around but the card also worked the A/C and you needed your actual card for that. There is food there at almost any time of day. There are multiple restaurants on the premises; they aren’t great but there are options. The beach bar and buffet open at 11 and are open all night. They serve fried chicken, fries, and burgers all night. You may have to cook your own burger or ask them to refresh things but it was there. I got a bun that was hard as a rock and asked for a fresh one, to which I was told that if I microwaved it (there was a microwave by the buffet) it would soften up. There was entertainment every night and a party on the beach that followed. The room is bare bones which encourages you to mingle at one of the 3 pools (2 in the main area and 1 in the quiet area) all had cabanas and the biggest of the main pool had a swim up bar. As for the location, there is a mall a short walk up the street and other resorts in the area. We even had one of the front desk staff book a taxi to take us around the city for $50. It was nice. All in all, if you don’t really care about the amenities try it. It’s still an all inclusive resort in paradise so it can’t be that bad. Just know that you may find better elsewhere. *Finally, if you are trying to figure out why some of the reviews look oddly positive, some of the staff, i.e., the entertainment staff, will sit with you and tell you what to write in the review, screenshot it, and send it to themselves.

Fantastic
Room was very clean and everything worked well. Staff was amazing and entertaining. Beach party was fantastic. Food was ok. Me and my wife like the resort. Pool was good. Really need more umbrellas around the pool. Swim up bar was great with a fantastic bartender. Close to the airport as well.

I traveled alone from the US and Lisselotte, alfredo , luis , michel fernador bar edwin , jose , antonio and team were amazing. They made me feel like family and comfortable. They included me in games when I was sitting alone. I have never had this experience in my life at any resort I have visited. I will definitely come back not just for the location but especially for the team.

Good trip
This is for Perla with Animation … she has been my personal trainer for stretching for three weeks and there is no one better. You go girl … the best. Me and my wife pass a good time all years here the best resort every year I like and especial entertainment beautiful

Fun in the sun
The entertainment staff was awesome..full of energy and super friendly ...Alfredo was above and beyond ...10+.. The bars always had drinks flowing ....and the resturants always had an abundance of food ..weather was specular..the spa was amazing ..80 min massage was pure heaven
