Jan 17, 2025Excellent Stay and Service to enjoy beautiful Punta Cana!
We had an excellent recent stay at Breathless Punta Cana. Our main goal was to relax but also have some fun. The resort property itself is very beautiful with the way they have set up all of the landscaping and architecture. We upgraded to Xhale Club and felt it was well worth it and you get bigger rooms (rooms were good quality) and a personal concierge contact, as well as access to a private pool, lounge and beach bar for members. Our concierge was Willy and he was great as he would send us daily greetings and communications on each day's events and help with any reservations. He also met with us frequently to check how everything was and if needed anything let him know. He was always available and even helped to get me a wireless phone charger on our last day when my phone's charge port got moisture in it and I couldn't use a regular charger. We weren't sure what to expect with the food but found it to be a great variety with restaurant style choices and especially the large variety at Spoon Buffet. As we weren't going to be wowed by the food we didn't have high expectations for this so the quality did surpass our expectations. We had a great Teppanyaki experience at Silk City and Coquette (French was great and so was Culinaria (continental). They also have a cafe on-site that had a great drink selection. I think there could still be some improvement with some of the dishes to add more flavor, but overall many choices and options and good quality is provided. Our main enjoyments were the various pools and the beach and all of them were excellent. The only thing is that you need to try to reserve chairs early here as that is what everyone seems to do. Would definitely recommend this resort to our family and friends!

Room not equivalent to the price we paid for X Hale. Found 2 roaches in our room. The fan had only one speed. On the plus side, the people who worked there were very nice and helpful. The food at breakfast buffet was never hot. The restaurants where we ate were very good.

Breathless (Xhale)
Overall, this resort is excellent! We upgraded to the Xhale membership and it was completely worth it, the access to the private beach area and the lounge (open later than the other bars) was great! Joel helped us with everything while we were there, consistently gave us updates on daily activities and restaurant hours. There is only one restaurant that you have to make a reservation for which made trying all the restaurants very easy. The food was actually beyond our expectations, we had good beef and great fish our entire stay. With the Xhale you also get a later checkout which gave us time to spend more time by the pool/beach! With the resort being smaller you can walk everywhere which we prefer to do. You also get access to the resort next door (Dreams Onyx) and can eat at all their restaurants and use all of their amenities, we ended up going ti the sports bar for the packer game on the sunday of our stay. Overall would come back here again! The only thing we had an issue with was our bags were not brought to the front after checkout even though they explicitly told us to leave them in the room, so that delayed our shuttle about 15 mins, which is not a huge deal at all!

We stayed with a large group of friends and breathless offered something for everyone. Plenty of lively entertainment throughout the day and great shows at night along with a night club. But if you like quiet and romantic the restaurants were amazing and there was plenty of quiet pools. The beach was sandy and great. Shout out to our favorite pool side server Angel! He was the best and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Our butler Yimi kept our large group coordinated and made the trip run smooth! He was incredible. Overall we were not disappointed. Will return!

Amazing and Beautiful!! The Best Server and Butler!!
We just came back from Breathless Punta Cana Resort and Spa, and it was incredible! From the moment we got to the resort to the moment we left, we were treated with the most incredible service, and friendliest people! The property itself is so beautiful, and well maintained. You can find anywhere on the property that will fit your needs for the day. If you are in a party mood, or if you are looking for more relaxation, you will have no problem finding your spot. We were part of the Xhale Club, which came with a butler named, Yimi. Yimi was so amazing to us, and made sure our stay was the best we had from start to finish. We were part of a huge group of friends of 22 that went, and he made sure we were well taken care of! He managed to make sure we had our dinner reservations at any place we wanted for the week, any excursions, questions, or just checking in, he was always readily available. Highly recommend Yimi! One of the best parts of our stay was our pool server, Angel!! I cannot say enough about him! He made sure we had the best time anywhere we were, and that we always were taken care of. He would always come up, and say hi to us, even when we were not all together. He remembered all of us! Just an amazing, great guy! If you go, and want amazing service, I would highly recommend asking for Yimi, and looking for Angel around the pool! They both made our trip so much better!
