  Lovely visit

  You get what you pay for! This hotel is officially 3 star I believe and I think it deserves the rating. Rooms are basic but have what you need. Breakfast and lunch buffet are nice, the pizza was a little undercooked mind you. Dinner in the buffet wasn’t nice but this is down to individual taste, I just couldn’t find anything I liked. There are a lot of pork dishes and I don’t like pork. The main downside for me was the queuing for breakfast. The main buffet restaurant is packed and it isn’t big enough for the size of the hotel. We noticed on the last day that the convention centre also serve breakfast, we went over there and there was a small queue and not as many options for food. Booking other restaurants on the resort for dinner was easy, 8am on the website. I can see how in busier months it may be hard to secure a table. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in Cancun in the future, perhaps even back at this hotel.

  This is a honest review please don't let bad reviews put you off as I'm a picky person and would go back Good points All facilities in room worked correctly could do with a little upgrade like sliding doors to balcony but nothing major All Staff are brilliant will name a few as I go but can't remember all names shout out to Joel on the beach bar he never stops and needs praise so do a few others but Joel stood out the most never seen him stop day in day out Kids games room staff are brilliant they make sure all games are shared equally and all kids get there fair share and turn they are all lovely especially Adrian and the woman Pools are all clean and the staff are always doing something weather it's painting gardening maintaining the grounds Room cleaners are all lovley we had rooms 1539 and 1540 and they was internal joining which was brilliant my daughter always left her money laying about and it was never touched at all Sara from the lobby was lovely too always had time for eveyone Beach is absolutely lovely and maintained by staff well and is constantly monitored from early in a morning till late There is a McDonald's which is 5 mins in a taxi around 100 Mexican peso ( £4) on uber There is also a shop across the road what as subway and chicken shop which is fairly priced You can get burgers hotdogs and chips and nachos in lobby from 10pm onwards which are great and there is a lovely man who works there mainly every night its the same guy lovely and polite Xplor was a great trip out so was the dolphins which I booked at the hotel around the pool grateful guys you don't get hounded avoid ventura park unless u can get tickets really cheap as not loads there Negative from me but might just be me been picky Pool snack bar food is cooked and put out way too early for my liking like burgers are put in bread buns and put out from 10am when it doesn't open till 11am and can still be sat there at 12 if not all taken.. wouldn't hurt them to cook them a little later I would always ask for a fresh 1 if I wanted 1 and it wasn't a problem and they always have way too many cooking again when there is still loads left they are probably making sure people arnt waiting and they don't run out which isn't bad but they need to slow down Pizza isn't cooked really in main restaurant could do with cooking a litte longer Pool tables in adult only bar need replacing or some tlc as balls roll were they want as tables arnt level As I say the negatives arnt major at all and would not put me off going back just would be nice for them to be looked at Hopefully see you again in the future and please the staff I have mentioned a praise please they need it 🙏 Forgot to mention also did jungle tour speed boats was brilliant too did 30mins snorkeling in with that aswell good price

  2 Canadian couples- overall good value

  We stayed for a week in January 2025, two couples, from Canada. Hotel: rooms are a bit run down, but over all everything worked and it was clean so we were happy with it. Our AC broke one night, we went to the lobby at 8:30am and the front desk told us it would be fixed by end of day or we would get a new room, we went to check on the room around 1pm and the AC was fixed- so we thought that was great service. We found the layout of the resort to be convenient. All of the staff were really nice and we thought the services was top notch. Pools/beach: as 4 adults we only used the adults pool- it’s a great spot and since so many families are at the resort we found it often wasn’t super busy! Omar was the adults pool bartender and he was awesome!!! The beach was super nice, lots of waves to ride. We usually went down to the beach around 8:30-9am, and we didn’t have any issues getting beach chairs- some mornings we had to move a few together but we could always finds some chairs. Food: we thought the food was average, was it the best food we’ve ever had ? No. But we always found things to eat and there was definitely some items that were great. 3 restaurants need reservations, you do need to go online with the QR code they provide right at 8am to get a reservation but we had no issues getting one everytime we tried. Service at the restaurants was really great- drinks topped up immediately, plates cleared quickly, etc. so that also made the experience at the restaurants better. Overall: for this being a budget resort- it was among the cheapest ones we could find, I think the value is great. When you pick one of the cheapest resorts you can’t expect it to also be the best resort ever. We thought the price / quality combination was good, and that we got good value for what we paid. We would stay here again.

  Hector is the best ever!

  Hector is absolutely amazing! He is so friendly and goes out of the way to help everyone. We will be back because of him! It was our daughter birthday and they made him them feel special on their special day. On the next day he was timely and efficient on the 25 minute to get the pool table he is very good at what he does.

  Great trip!

  We had the best experience with Jesus! He helped us out a lot! With our bags and with check out. The food and drinks were amazing. We really enjoyed the entertainment. Again our friend Jesus made the experience unforgettable! We are so happy !
