Great times. Great service.
Ivan at the pool bar was the most attentive and amazing server for our vacation. He brought us drinks unprompted knowing exactly what we liked. Service was wonderful at the entire resort. Food was very good for all inclusive. Make friends with Ivan. He will take excellent care of you.

Wonderful time at the Golden Crown
We are on our second last day here and so far it has been an amazing trip. The food is so good! Every meal at the buffet has had something delicious to eat, you just have to sample everything and you'll find something you will love. All the meat in the warming dishes I've had has been fall off the bone, the chicken and beef you can cut with a fork. I've had soup every day and whoever makes it definitely knows what they're doing!! For breakfast we had yogurt, fruit and the best french toast ever! For lunch we did the buffet or the snack bar, my husband was obsessed with the hamburgers and I loved the pork nachos where you can add your own toppings. Service by the pool was great and all the staff have been very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned nicely everyday, she even cleaned the jacuzzi tub daily and removed the mineral deposits. Our fridge was stocked daily and the guy who does it was super friendly and gave us a couple extra beers and waters when we asked. The drinks at the various bars were so tasty, I loved the mojitos and Miami vice. The rooftop pool had a beautiful view and the beach was very nice. Tonight we are trying the sushi and I'm sure it will be delicious like everything else! There are a ton of cabana beds and pool chairs and we enjoyed lounging on them. Our only negative comment is that you can't get cappuccinos after 530. It's also really annoying when people reserve beds by placing a towel down and no one is laying on it the entire day. That's not the hotel's fault though, just inconsiderate guests. We will be back again for sure!!

Awful experience
**THIS WAS FOR MY BDAY TRIP** We stayed at this hotel for one night, even though we had paid for four. As soon as we entered the room, there was an overwhelming musky odor. The ceiling fan was missing a light cover, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the entire room felt unclean and uncomfortable. The lobby also had a strong musky smell, and the furniture throughout the property was outdated. The buffet offered very few options, and the grilled food was burnt and unappetizing. Overall, I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel for your stay.

Beautiful Views, Haphazard Maintenance and Service
Our room was comfortably large with a great view of the ocean and coast. The hotel has easy access to downtown and nearby shopping. The Bellavista cafeteria had a nice variety of food, some of it very tasty. A duo played music in the lobby on Saturday nights and it was fun to dance to. We had all sorts of problems. First, the hotel lost our reservation despite the confirmation messages we received. We had to stay in the family section the first night and move. The lock on the door of the second room didn't work properly, sometimes locking us out of our room. No one fixed it during our stay. The small lighted mirror in the bathroom fell off the wall and its light didn't work. The music blared at the pool; there was no way to escape it.
