Wonderful and relaxing
I stayed here with members of my church for two weeks, the rooms were clean and had a great view of the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good qulity and delicious. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Very impressed
Me and my friends were very impressed with the accommodations of the Grand hotel. Not fully knowing allot about the hotel before hand, we were very surprised when we arrived. The views from the rooms were awsome. The food and drinks were very good and the waiters and other staff very friendly. The service was simply AWSOME!! it was a very good location, walking distance from many stores, including Walmart. there was 4 of us in our party and after the 2nd day there, we all concluded that we would be back again soon. Very much enjoyed our 13 days there.

Great value!
Stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful property, the food was great, and the staff were very friendly as well. The only improvements I would like to see would be access to the beach at night (they lock the doors around sunset - I really enjoy walking on the beach at night) and I also wish the bars were open later.

An all inclusive disappointment
We stayed at this hotel during a convention/conference. The staff are very nice and helpful. Our room was nice, clean and the beds comfortable. But, the hotel is old and needs updating. The pools had a lot of dirty marks on them and the paint around main pool was peeling off. The hotel is currently being changed into a Dreams hotel so there were a number of areas that were not open/not accessible. The restaurant is in a great location with view of the bay but the food was terrible (overcooked pasta, wrongly labeled food and the all inclusive menu had little variety dispite appearing to have a lot dishes). In addition drinks were only available for 2 hours each evening which was between 8pm-10pm, not great if you have children who are used to dining and sleeping earlier and would like a drink with your meal. They also charge for sunbeds on the beach which is poor for a hotel advertising itself as a 5 star hotel. I would not visit this hotel again and feel it was not worth the money we paid.

Worst Hotel Ever
I'm so shocked to read that other people had a good time at Grand Hotel. My experience was really bad. A week prior staying at Grand Hotel. My family and I had stayed at a AIRB&B. It was the most wonderful experience. Then we came to Grand Hotel 7/29 to 8/7. My biggest mistake ever. My hotel booking was made back in early April 2019 through Expedia. I paid in full(non-refundable). At the time of booking I remember reading other reviews that the hotel was going through remodeling changes. I asked management under( special request section)when booking my room. To please give us a room in top floors and away from construction noise. The building has 24 floors. We were put on the 9th floor in 908. The room next to us was under construction. There was banging on the walls all day long! It seems I was given what I didn't want. I had a side view of the beach. My other full view was of the parking lot. Which was a dumpster ,due to that's where the construction workers were dumping their trash. The bed was so old and wobbly.I found a roach in the bathroom. I asked the front desk to move us to a higher floor. I was denied the request. They wanted me to pay more money. In the past I have stayed at Fiesta Americana, Emporio, and Crowne Plaza for a lot less money. Our stay was always good. Grand Hotel definitely not a good place for us. The pool on the left side was barricaded with wood pieces. Not a pretty sight when you are lounging or swimming. There were people trying to sell us time shares.Heck no! First have a meeting and give the front desk staff a class on customer service. If the customer is uncomfortable. Charging them more money to make them comfortable is not the solution. Never again will I book with Grand Hotel. You lost a family that visits Acapulco yearly!
