    Fabulous service

Miguel at Spice, absolutely great service. Welcoming and very kind and humble. Great show and skills he put for us. Even my nephew clapped and enjoyed it. Jonathan from the buffet - absolutely great service hospitality and kindness. Thank you staff for being wonderful.

    Great food, great show

The hibachi restaurant was, by far, the best restaurant at the resort. The food was delicious and only surpassed by the show put on by our chef Miguel. I can't recommend this place enough. It was probably the best fried rice I've ever had, and entertaining as well.

    Week at Dreams Jade

Customer service is incredible, the staff make the trip very special. The way they keep the resort clean and well maintained is impressive Food, alcohol and rooms were top notch. Smaller type resort but makes it all the better with close food to pool to room ratios. Cafe coco has great coffee, pastries and an iced coffee station around the corner. Views are spectacular all around, We will definitely be returning. P. S. Pillows aren’t the best.

After spending a week here, I would give this 3.5 stars

I recently spent five days at Dreams Jade in Cancun with friends, followed by two days for a work event in mid-January 2025. As a Hyatt Discoverist, we were granted Premier-level access, which included a dedicated lounge with a top-shelf bar, a private check-in experience, a set of concierges for assistance, and access to the adults-only Premier Pool and its top-shelf pool bar. For context, I am a 47-year-old frequent traveler with experience spanning both work and leisure trips. Service: The service throughout the resort ranged from good to excellent. Bartenders were consistently quick and friendly, often engaging in light conversation—especially for those who speak Spanish. Waitstaff were equally warm and attentive in most cases, and smiles were abundant across the board. Housekeeping was efficient but occasionally missed small details, such as leaving a towel on the floor or overlooking a spilled soda in the fridge. Overall, the service left a positive impression and warrants a rating of 4/5. Food: Dining experiences were underwhelming. While it is understood that all-inclusive resorts aim to cater to diverse preferences, the overall quality of the food was disappointing. Every restaurant was sampled, and although a few dishes stood out, most offerings fell short. For example, at Capers (Italian), the Carbonara and Penne Bolognese were served within minutes of ordering, indicating they were pre-made, and the taste reflected that. Similar issues were noted across other venues, with inconsistencies in quality such as overly tough chicken satay at Spice or scallops with an unusual gummy texture at Mercure. The restaurants, ranked by personal preference, are as follows: Cin Cin (Mediterranean), Spice (Pan-Asian), Tamarindo (Mexican), Mercure (French), and Capers (Italian). The buffet, while convenient, also lacked variety and quality, although some items like the "Mexican chicken" were enjoyable. The food, unfortunately, did not meet expectations and would be rated 3/5. Bars: The resort excelled in service at the bars, with bartenders consistently fast and attentive. A standout location was The Mix, an oceanside bar with a relaxed atmosphere featuring swings, sofas, and bar seating, which quickly became a favorite. While the service was excellent, drink quality varied significantly. For example, margaritas were inconsistent—some overly sour and others overly sweet—making it hard to predict what to expect. Access to top-shelf options was limited to Premier bars. Despite this, the overall bar experience was enjoyable, and the excellent service earns it a 4/5. Property & Amenities: The resort grounds were well-maintained, creating a pleasant and visually appealing environment. The beach was equipped with standard amenities and was clean and inviting. Pools were spacious, clean, and generally uncrowded. While some areas showed signs of the resort's age, the property overall presented well and offered a sense of being in a contained, relaxing bubble. A rating of 4/5 feels appropriate. Room 1 (with friends): Room #4408 was a double-bed unit located in Building 4, which is among the best in terms of proximity to the main esplanade. The room itself, however, left much to be desired. The air conditioning was insufficient, running non-stop yet failing to cool the room adequately. The bathroom lacked proper ventilation, leading to a hot and muggy environment. Beds were average at best and comparable to what might be found at a budget motel. Despite paying for an "ocean view," most of the view was of the courtyard. Wi-Fi was unreliable, and a leaking soda in the mini-fridge led to an ant problem. Overall, the room experience merits a 2/5. Room 2 (for work): Room #2103, located on the ground floor, had a quieter atmosphere and functional air conditioning, which significantly improved comfort. However, the view faced construction debris and trees, and Wi-Fi remained unreliable. Despite being farther from the main esplanade, the quieter setting and working A/C earned this room a slightly higher rating of 3/5. Activities: Activities were not utilized, but the offerings appeared to align with what might be found on a typical cruise, such as dance classes and trivia games. No rating is provided for this category. Good to Know: -Download the Hyatt Inclusive app before arriving. It is essential for managing room service, requesting housekeeping, viewing menus, and more. -Bringing plenty of single dollar bills is highly recommended for tipping, as it is difficult to get them at the resort. -Premier access significantly enhances the experience, especially with access to quieter areas and better-quality drinks. - A taxi ride from the airport takes about 30 minutes and should cost around $50. Overall Impression: Dreams Jade provided a relaxing environment, but there were notable shortcomings, particularly in food quality and room comfort. While the property is visually appealing and service is a standout feature, these factors alone do not justify a return visit. For travelers seeking relaxation and attentive service, this resort may still be a suitable option, but those prioritizing food and higher-quality accommodations may want to consider alternatives.

    Well Worth the Visit.

We just got home from a week long vacation at Jade Dream Resort. There were 13 in our group including children under the age of 4. Property was well kept and very nice. Rooms were excellent. Food: We ate ate the buffet for many meals. Selection was good and there was lots for everyone to choose from and everything was delicious. We certainly never went hungry. We also ate at the ala carts and again service and food was excellent. The poolside grill had great burgers and hotdogs for afternoon snacks along with wings and chees quesadias. There is also a 24 hour coffee bar which had decent selection whether you were in the mood for something healthy or something sweet. Entertainment was enjoyable and well done. The staff did an excellent job of engaging with guests and we need to give a shout out to "Angel" who made the trip very memorable for our granddaughter who was sad to leave her new friend angel. Pools are fantastic and well laid out (as well as heated which is very nice on cooler days). There is the infinity pool, Activity Pool and the pool with the swim up Bar as well as Toddler pool which we spent a lot of time at with the grandkids. My favourite is always the infinity pools as you cannot beat the view of the ocean. Beach area in front of hotel is smaller and very rocky in the ocean however if you go left towards the rock wall there is a very nice sandy area that you can walk out into the water. Also if you go to the right about a 1/4 mile there is lots of nice sandy areas to be able to go out in the ocean in. Overall stay is 10/10. We have stayed at three different Dreams Resorts as well as 15-20 different all inclusives over the last 20 years and I would have to say this one is definitely at the top of the list.
