Jan 18, 2025Excellent location, disappointing resort.
We stayed all inclusive preferred club for five nights in January 2025 for a birthday celebration. Location of the hotel is great, and the preferred club infinity pool has excellent views and so would definitely recommend staying preferred club. However, unfortunately there is a real issue with the food at this hotel as two members of our party had diarrhoea during the third day of our stay. We were very carful what we ate and only ate from the World Cafe and the Italian restaurant once. After assessing the food, we weren’t surprised as a lot of the hot food wasn’t very warm from the buffet, and at breakfast the eggs and omelettes weren’t cooked properly. We also had dietary requirements for our stay which the hotel did eventually act on, but it wasn’t until the evening in day two that they started to act on this, after repeatedly informing them upon arrival. We found the process for the hotel to act on dietary requirements unnecessarily complicated and at times very frustrating. Although, the hotel did provide us with some very delicious diary free deserts in the end, which was highly appreciated and we thanked the kitchen staff for this. As preferred we had one hour free access to the SPA, and then you would have to pay 15 EUR for entry there after. We found the SPA very basic and disappointing, and would definitely not pay 15 EUR for further entry. Some of evening entertainment was good, however some evenings it was very poor and felt cheap and so we just walked out and went back to our room. Overall, I would definitely return to Playa Blanca but probably would stay at another resort as found the hotel very average and definitely wouldn’t rate this hotel 5*.

Jan 17, 2025A wonderful gem.
We have just returned back from a much needed few days in the Lanzarote sunshine. We stayed at the Dreams resort & had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is stunning & looked after so well. The attention to detail is above & beyond. By accident we were given the wrong room on telling the reception area the problem we were promptly put in the correct room within minutes. Later that night we had a knock on the door to be given a goodie bag & an apology letter which was so thoughtful. Those kind touches go a long way. It was my birthday the day after so we chose Dreams as our celebratory get away. After returning to the room we were greeted with a plate of birthday cakes, a bottle of cava & a birthday message. The hotel really does know how to make you feel special. The complex is lovely from the rooms to the pools, activities & food.The staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. We are planning to return to Playa Blanca next year & we will definitely be returning to the Dreams complex for our few days away in the sun. Thank you Dreams for a magical few days away in the Lanzarote sunshine.

Lovely hotel and I would definitely return again with my husband and daughter. Only used the children's area pools, baby pool was lovely and warm but the pool with slides was still cold for saying it is heated. Room was cleaned super fast whilst at breakfast! Mini bar topped up everyday (all inclusive). Didn't have any issues with getting drinks at the bar, and the drinks were really good and plenty to choose from!! Note all inclusive is Unlimited Luxury (UL on drink menu)! The Coco cafe is great and all free on all inclusive!! The sabers menu was a bit touch and go, blue water grill was lovely (even though less choice). Lunch in the world cafe was a bit hit and miss too (might have been me being a bit fussy). Kids corner food was always cold (but weren't many kids at the time so likely same food the whole sitting time). Fresh pasta - amazing!!! Just a bit slow. Only really negative of the room is that the shower heads needs a good clean or to be replaced. Had no issues with loud music/noise at night (our room was 3105 facing car park).

Winter sun
We had booked here for a week, our room is beautiful and o we looking the sea, the staff are very welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to meet your every need. We had lunch at the barefoot grill most days which is the a la carte lumch and it was heaven, we also visited the bluewater grill and waiters Hamza and Byron were the best and made sure that we were well looked after, the food was great as was the atmosphere

Would recommend !
Very nice hotel in a great location. Amazing entertainment team, special mention to Andreas! Really enjoyed acqua gym, pilates, yoga, SUP and playing ping pong! I only wish archery wouldn’t be at the same time as acqua gym !!! Very nice pool and bar areas, good variety of restaurants and comfy rooms We travelled with our 10 months baby and we had all the comfort we needed Really friendly and attentive staff Thank you! Laura
