My wife and I stayed at Dreams Royal Beach over Christmas and New Year and had an absolutely wonderful time. We stayed in a preferred club premium suite, garden view in the new section. The room was massive, huge comfortable bed and kept spotless by housekeeping. The staff in all departments are charming friendly people who do an amazing job of looking after their guests. The food was excellent overall, hats off to the chefs. Would we return, it’s a definite yes.

Amazing Resort
We had an amazing time at this resort. Yacaira was very personable, friendly and helpful as our butler. Maximiliano is the man at the pool bar, he makes a mean choco banana. The beach views are amazing, I highly recommend staying at this resort.

Great Vacation Spot
I loved my time at Dreams Royal Beach in Punta Cana. The hotel was clean, the people were kind & helpful and the beach was gorgeous. There were a lot of food options available where we were able to eat at a different location each night. They also had fun activities during the day & night.

Jan 14, 2025Varying service in all aspects, and be prepared to pay if you want to fully experince eveyrthing this hotel has to offer
Beach was nice, except when you had random people smoking around you, or when you were constantly bothered by vendors who could come up onto the property among the chairs to bother you and some who were aggressive. Food and drinks varied wildly. We tried every restaurant we were "allowed" to try. The Seaside grill had great steaks and drinks the first night but the 2nd time we went for dinner the steaks were cold and bland and the drinks poorly made. Portfino was good food for the two times we went, and good service, but it was also in newer area of the hotel so I assume they wanted to make a better impression. The preferred guest VS Non-preffered guest was utter B.S. I paid over 8 Grand for my family to stay there for a week but because I didn't shell out even more, I wasn't allowed in certain places, or even to use the hot tubs. On that note, if you stay at Secrets which is the attached sister property for adults only, you can most certainly come to the Dreams side to use their restaurants. But if you stayed at Dreams, and even if you are all adults you are not welcome to come to use their restaurants. So yeah, bunch of B.S there as well. The Casino is so tiny it has maybe 20 machines, and 6 or 7 tables. Also they give you match play coupons, but they can only be used on tables, and if used on Roulette they have special rules and ways you can use them. They limit what and how you can bet with them!? I live in Las Vegas and this seems real strange. Example. If you use the match play, you only bet on Red, Even, or 1-18. Nothing else, and you must bet the 10 dollars of your only money with the same bet, you can't use your money elsewhere. Room service was sometimes fast and good. Sometimes it took forever and came up cold and missing items so you had to call again and complain. Sometimes it just never came up. Over all the service varied, the food varied, the drinks varied. They charge you a lot, but unless you overpay you are limited in where you can go. I felt like I overpaid.
