Waiter Luis Loalza absolute blessing and joy on our spring break trip He greeted my 2 children everyday like he had known them for life !! Overall great experience at this resort Only if beach area could be a bit more private was troublesome for kids to have to answer to “sellers” every 2 secs while relaxing on beach

Great employee
Almost every day at the end of day I would go to the Elite lounge for a drink. On every occasion that Alejandra was on duty I was on duty I was greeted with a beautiful smile and a warm greeting. I had a number of conversations with her and she was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Can't wait to return

Love El Cid! Can't wait to come back!
Such a beautiful resort! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and effortless. The location is absolutely ideal—right on the water with stunning views, and close to everything you could want, but still peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The grounds are immaculate, with lush landscaping, sparkling pools, and so many little spots to relax and take it all in. What really sets El Cid apart, though, is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay perfect. Daniela in the lounge deserves a special shoutout—she was so sweet, thoughtful, and made us feel right at home every time we stopped in. One of the most memorable moments was when the staff surprised us with a birthday cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the trip feel that much more special. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a place to celebrate something meaningful, I truly can’t recommend El Cid enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Best experience in the penthouse
I come every year at el moro and always i have a great experience with the people and my concierge Daniela from elite club is always helping me about the hotel and the room She's been an amazing person, helping us with nails appointments, some directions I always stayed at the penthouse is my favorite room, the food is amazing and the waiters I always expecting coming back

Great time at El Cid!
Fantastic resort experience! El Cid El Moro in Mazatlán is perfect for families. The pool area was a big hit with our kids—plenty of fun activities to keep them entertained. We loved the beachfront location, and having grocery stores just steps away was super convenient. Our room was incredibly spacious with stunning views of both the ocean and the golf course. The food across all the restaurants was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and poolside snacks. The staff went above and beyond—everyone was friendly and attentive. A special thanks to Genaro for his outstanding service and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back!
