Awesome New Years Eve Celebration
We liked it. We had three deluxe poolside rooms in the 3000 block by the Saona Pool. Our rooms had a view of the pool and the ocean. They really were excellent. Walter at the front desk was amazing, and deserves a raise. Fernando, the Saona pool bartender, was fantastic. We were able to secure a la carte diners each night without any issues. The New Years Eve dinner gala was amazing, as was the party afterwards. Fantastic beach, with unbelievable views. There is not much for an animation or entertainment team, so if you're looking for that, this is not the place for you. The evening shows were very good, from Queen to the Dominican Dance Show. We visited the lobby bars at the Palace and Bavaro as well. All are excellent. Hemingways was a neat evening bar. We would return.

great experience and awesome entertainment team especially Edgar and Roberto - el primo!. The food is delicious and the drinks are very well done. The beach is well maintained and the bar personal is kind. The garden is extraordinary with a great variety of plants.

Not kid-friendly, especially not baby friendly, you have to bring everything, even a crib. Bad and slow service : replenishing your fridge, at buffets and a la carte restaurants. Very noisy restaurants, not enough high-chairs for kids, hostesses don’t take in account that you have a stroller when sitting you down. Staff touching my baby, his toys and stroller without permission. No antibacterial soap dispensers in the restaurants, tables not cleaned inbetween customers.

Booked expensive terrace suite room 7 months in advance. They moved my family into two cockroach and centipede infested rooms. Had no choice
