Wedding Experience/Review
We began planning our wedding exactly a year ago, and unfortunately, progress was very slow. Communication with the wedding team was frustrating—responses to even our most basic questions would often take weeks, sometimes even months. Although the resort assigns a dedicated wedding coordinator and planner, we were repeatedly passed off to different people throughout the process. This led to a confusing and disorganized email thread, with important information often lost or not communicated to the next coordinator. This was a recurring issue that made it difficult for us to move forward, as we frequently had to revisit previously discussed topics. New coordinators were unfamiliar with our contract sometimes, which delayed responses even further. At one point, it took nearly five months to finalize our room block agreement, causing us to lose room availability for our guests. Even though we had a WhatsApp group set up for quick communication, replies still took weeks. When we arrived at the resort, we introduced ourselves at the lobby check-in, expecting that our status as the bride and groom would be recognized in the system. We were supposed to receive a VIP welcome and wristbands. However, the front desk staff had no idea what to do, treated us as regular guests, and assigned us standard rooms. After checking in, I asked about a possible upgrade, but was told there were no rooms available. I asked upfront because I wanted to avoid the inconvenience of relocating after unpacking. Ironically, some of our guests and family members were upgraded—which we didn’t mind—but it was disappointing that the actual couple getting married wasn’t recognized or prioritized as VIPs. The day before our wedding, our main shower drain overflowed, flooding the resort’s public hallway. Thankfully, the staff responded quickly—four to five plumbers and three resort team members came to resolve the issue. Our on-site coordinator Viridiana handled it well and found us an upgraded loft-style room, which we appreciated. Despite the rocky planning process, we want to express our gratitude to our on-site coordinator Viridiana. She was attentive, responsive, and truly helpful in making sure things went smoothly once we arrived and all the way till the end of our wedding. We appreciate everyone who helped and contributed on our special day. I recommend that the resort’s wedding team be more attentive during the early stages of the contract agreement, as this is when most couples have important questions and need clarity. If a dedicated coordinator is assigned to a couple, it would make a big difference to have that same person stay involved throughout the entire planning process, right up to the wedding day. Most importantly, timely responses to emails are crucial—quick communication can ease a lot of stress and help couples feel supported. J &A

Paddleboarding
Jean was one of the best guides and helped us have the best experience possible. She was nice and friendly to all of us in the group. She gave us great tips and also took us on a nice scenic tour around the river that loops through the resort. 10/10

Wonderful week at Family Selection
We had a wonderful week at Family Selection. We just got home last night and we are planning on booking again next spring. Our kids (5,6) had a wonderful time at the kids club with so May activities and even made some new friends. The food and restaurant were much better than last year and the spa was excellent as usual. Special shout out to our butler, Victor who went above and beyond to make us feel special. He brought our girls special treats almost every night and even prepare a bubble bath with balloons! We can’t wait to go back.

Excellent service at the pool!
10/10 Today we met Emilo at the pool. He was excellent and extremely helpful. Came by to our location checking in on us and making sure we had our umbrella adjusted when the sun moved. He was very knowledgeable about the resort and was very helpful.
