The Laguna Conference Center offers 2 areas for registration and different assemblies; for expo, banquets, theater type and school. I thought this place was a 4.2 star except for the food. The service was great..place was clean. Awesome Location. Great Staff and Service. Buffet was small and the Food options were limited. The restaurants were fine but slow a times.

Just left my 5 day vacay… Let me preface that this was an inexpensive option as I got an upgrade on my room for some booking troubles so I can’t complain about costs. Let’s starts with the pro’s: -The place is VERY esthetically pleasing and extremelyly clean. -the beach was stunning - Bali beds on the beach were accessible for no cost - the ice cream can’t be beat - the air conditioning in the rooms was great (I like to keep it cold because it minimizes the humidity in the rooms) -free resusable water bottles in the room -i had a private car for my transportation - I loved th iguanas everywhere - pools were big and the swim up bars were a plus - towels were large and comfy - staff were pleasent Cons: - I’m not sure this is a con but was different from other experiences. While the staff were pleasent, I don’t feel they went above and beyond in service outside of a few waiters. I tend to bring a lot of small bills (USD) for tipping but I didn’t feel they were all that interested in “earning” tips. For example, I was not greeted right away to order anything a drink. I’m not above waiting a bit but at time I felt like I was being ignored. - the food…my biggest con. Food was mediocre at best. The hibachi $ a few things in the authentic Mexican restaurant were good but other than that, I felt very disappointed in food options. The buffet felt like n upscale continental breakfast. The only 2 go spot was the ice cream place (veggies in a cup -no dip, sandwiches -a fingernail sized amount of mayo & 1 teeny size meat and cheese, and some finger sized treats - not tasty at all) and the grill by the pool (only thing decent was the potato wedges). - drinks were strong but definitely made with cheap booze. You didn’t even have the option to pay for top shelf. So the flavor wa not good. I don’t think they knew many cocktail mixes because each time I ordered something, it was far from normal. -I wanted my room refreshed twice while there and never got that -room service was only included once a day, otherwise you had to pay. - my 2nd biggest con is they had a “welcome breakfast” (aka, a sales rep sitting with you at breakfast watching you eat) and then a “90 min” sales presentation for they club membership. It took me 4 hours in total before they finally accepted a no. They tried every physiological sales tactic. They even insilted my husband by asking about his finances. It grossed me out. They told us we had to do it the next day of arrival and I told them it was Easter on several occasions and all I wanted to do was snorkel with my kids. We missed our excursion because of this sales pitch and it took my husband just said “we’re leaving”. After that, I felt we were treated differently. But I did get a free beach bag out of the deal. I wouldn’t say my trip was to the point of being ruined or I didn’t have a decent time, but I can honestly say I’ll never be back to this resort.

What a great place!!
We are having the best time here. Beautiful area. The service is impeccable. Alejandro and Ivan at the buffet breakfast are top notch. Mimosas non stop! And they brought our birthday girl all the fun! Fresh food. Omelette grill. So much fun!!

Not what we expected
Lack of entertainment, music, no disco, 24 hr service was not an option even though stated online. Staff were not as friendly. Shade was also an issue in most areas. Although the resort and location itself is beautiful, we would not come back.
