Apr 21, 2025Lovely place with some niggles
I had a generally good stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. However, it was a bit noisy at night, which made it hard to sleep at times. Also, the lunch and dinner options could be improved, as they were a bit limited. Lastly, the beach area felt small for the number of guests. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement.

We weren’t expecting the vacation package talk, which we were told would take 90 minutes and it took over 3 hours and they just kept pushing it. But other than that…. The Grand Park Royal was an Absolutely Wonderful place to stay. And I Loved how they focused on families and so many different activities and entertainment. I so much want to go back and take my family with us. The staff was ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS.

Come for the location and comfort, but not the food
Beautiful cove and snorkeling on this resort. Saw a pufferfish among many other colorful fish. The pools are a bit cold but gorgeous. The bars, beds, service, and setting are top notch. Food is not great… for example, I ordered cheesecake two times and got something different each time.First time it had shredded cheese on top. Second time was a square piece of sheet cale with a dollop of pink frosting and half a blueberry. Don’t come for the food, but come for the comfort, service, and beautiful location.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was definitely one of the best resorts I have stayed at. This was as all inclusive as you could possibly get. Do not be afraid to ask questions if you don’t know, as the front desk and hotel staff are super friendly ! The room service is completely included and fast and efficient. You can order food and whatever you need to your room in the click of a couple buttons in the app. Keep in mind this is a timeshare resort and you may be asked to participate in a brief meeting with them, I would avoid this at all costs but not once were we pressured or followed by these people to push it on us. Everyone here is treated like a member regardless, if you are respectful then you will receive respect it’s that simple. I highly recommend venturing off the resort as you are close to where the crew ships dock and we felt safe walking the street shops. I also suggest going to your closest OXXO for things as they are half the price than on the resort and only 3 minutes from you. I would stay here again as this resort seems placed in the middle of a beautiful jungle. It’s earthy and natural and the resort is built around nature. This is a true resort and was worth every penny spent. P.s ask the guys at the front for taxi prices as it was 10usd from your resort to the shopping blocks we asked to be dropped off at the ferry as that’s smack in the middle of everything! :) happy travels !

Spring Break
My family and I really enjoyed this resort. Rooms were clean, resort was clean. Staff was really friendly and helpful. My youngest son loved the kids club. The pool area on the resort and by the beach was great. Like any all inclusive resort, the buffet wasn’t the best but they have options to choose from. 24hour room service was a plus. We ate burgers most of our time here. We will definitely return to Grand Park on our next trip to Cozumel.
