    Love, love, love this place..

We loved everything about the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. The people who work here are truly customer service oriented, making our stay very comfortable. Housekeeping, Front Desk, Servers, Bartenders, Pool Staff and Security, were friendly and professional. We stayed in the Alii Tower, had a partial ocean/resort view, no complaints. On our last night we were able to upgrade to an Ocean Front Corner Suite, Wow! Thanks for hosting us Hilton Hawaiin Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

Excellent Kamaaina vacation! Wanted to stay longer!

We have never stayed here before, but their Kamaaina rate was so enticing!! I was planning to staycation on Kauai but the rates at this Hilton were lower than the hotels on Kauai! After much research, I decided that with the 5 pools, lagoon, beachfront, multiple restaurants and shops, we would not even need to leave the grounds, and this would be a great hotel to try out for my 4 year old granddaughter!! Alii Tower -- highly recommend for all of the extra benefits!! I opted for early check in ($75 extra) at 12:30 which was so worth it, the extra 3 and a half hours were spent with my granddaughter in the beautiful lagoon and pools. I also upgraded to the Alii Tower ($52 extra) which had it's own check in desk which I was thrilled about since they had hundreds of people at the main lobby waiting to check in, and we had 2 people in front of us! Alii tower is the only one with a private pool only for their tower guests but we didn't have time to use it. The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful! Our room was very nice, clean, and had ample room for 2 adults and a child. We had a nice view from the 12th floor but rarely spent any time in the room... Too many activities to do! There is a Starbucks about 50 feet away from the entrance of the Alii Tower but it was CROWDED until almost noon. The beach is a 1 minute walk from the Alii Tower in the other direction. We loved the water features, koi, fishes, birds, ducks, everything about the property was beautiful!! The pools were SUPER crowded so we opted for the lagoon which was terrific! There is a LOT of people in the pools until 9 p.m. As far as location, the property is kind of far from the main Waikiki drag, but we felt like we were in our own little Waikiki. Great shops and places to eat on property. The Tapa Bar was a happening place at night with great live music! There was also a prom happening that night as well. If you want to go off property, Lyft was about $7 to Ala Moana Shopping Center or the Zoo. Since parking is so expensive, I highly recommend using a rideshare. On Easter Sunday they had Easter activities and my granddaughter was sooo happy to get a golden egg and the hotel director gave her a bag with a penguin stuffie and a bunch of other great gifts! I will definitely be back and have already told my friends and family about this wonderful property!

    Recommend 100%

I want to share an unexpected experience. When I told Alyssa that I wanted to share a glowing review of my experience with her manager, she modestly said “thanks”, but that she was “just happy to help”. But after an early morning flight, with a 40 pound bag for the day (and dreading a coming redeye flight), Alyssa took the time to help. She went above and beyond to help me find rest. I recommend Hilton Village (It’s beautiful, Multiple pools, great beach, and food and shopping on site). Alyssa is the reason I will stay here when I return for future work or personal trips! Hilton, don’t pass On this opportunity To reward someone who went above and beyond!

Disappointed with Our Experience on our Prom Night (April 19)

feedback about our experience at your hotel on the night of April 19th. Our school held prom there, and while the event itself was great, what happened afterward really left a bad impression. After a long night, we were all super tired and just wanted to head home. When we went to valet our car, we were told (by multiple staff members, not just one) that if we had the school code, we’d get a discount for valet parking. We double-checked just to be sure and were told the same thing. But when we went to actually use the code, the staff member at the valet counter (an older woman with white hair in a ponytail, working around 9:30 PM) told us it only applied to self-parking. That was super frustrating because we’d made the decision to valet based on the info we were given. When we tried to explain this, her attitude was honestly really off-putting. She spoke to us in a way that felt rude and dismissive definitely not the kind of treatment I’d expect from Hilton staff. We weren’t trying to cause problems; we just wanted a clear answer and a little understanding, but instead we were met with attitude and zero empathy. Even though we weren’t staying overnight, we were still guests at your hotel. I’ve personally stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village more than 10 times, and I’ve always had great experiences which is why this one stood out so much in a negative way. I hope this can be used as a reminder of how important staff training and communication are. Guests notice how they’re treated, and experiences like this can really change how people view a brand

Expensive tourist tax and sun bed/sun brolley add ons

Great location but expensive and in need of an urgent refurb. Tourist tax of $800 for 7 night stay and approaching $100 pd for sun bed and brolley. Best experience was tour of north of island and paying homage at Pearl Harbour. Some great restaurants parallel to beach.
