  Slice of Paradise

  The resort is gorgeous. We stayed in an overwater bungalow. It was spacious and clean. The bathroom had both a clawfoot tub and rainfall shower. Water pressure was fantastic and hot water was plentiful. The main room had a complimentary mini bar and large bed. The bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were too soft. Our private deck and dock had sun chairs and a small table to eat or have morning coffee at. There was also an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming. We ate at multiple restaurants on site and had good food at each. The traditional Polynesian show was delightful. Our only problem came from other guests flying drones around the bungalows. This is clearly posted as not allowed. We called the front desk multiple times over several days but nothing was done. Despite this, we loved our stay and would definitely return and recommend this resort to anyone.

  Credit charge charged twice for room and not rectified still

  The resort is postcard pretty and the ocean bungalow. I was charged twice at check in and again at check out which maxed out the credit card. I called the resort directly within days (international charges) and emailed which was initially denied. Sent copies of the credit card statement with the double charges along with my printed check out bill which I luckily had. It’s over 2 weeks and still not rectified which is frustrating. At such a high room rate- seems timely costumer service would be important.

  Really nice hotel with an amazing location and friendly staff

  I think this is such a wonderful place to stay as a starting point for your vacation in French Polynesia. It’s just a short ferry ride from the main island and if you take a redeye like we did, you can be there early in the morning and they’re so very accommodating so you can get out and enjoy the resort while you’re waiting for your room to be available spending a few nights there is amazing and then going out to the other islands. The thing that I enjoy the most about the resorts location is the shallow water around all the huts. You can literally walk to any hut on the property from the beach. If you want, you can go far beyond the end of the dock, so it’s easy snorkeling, lots of fish And if you’re like me that enjoy snorkeling a little but likes to be out in the water I spent hours just walking amongst the coral formations stood out 20 or 30 yards beyond the docks. Watch the sun go down. It’s truly an amazing spot and the reason why we start our French Polynesian vacations here for a few nights before we move out to the other islands. Food I highly recommend getting a breakfast included. my wife is a vegetarian so this allowed her a lot of options each morning and then we would only have one meal the rest of the day because it is expensive. We also packed snacks and of course duty-free alcohol to keep the cost down. The crêpe restaurant is fantastic and gives you another non-meat option although they do have options with meat as well. I think the pool here is just OK if you’re looking for a place that just lay by the pool. I’m not sure I would choose this hotel. This hotel is more about the beach and the water sports involved at the beach. It wouldn’t be my first choice to go lay by the pool for a few days so while this is not one of those really high-end French Polynesian resorts, this is a really nice hotel with an amazing location and a super friendly staff and I’m sure I’ll be back again.

  MUST VISIT!!

  We loved every second of our time here! Food: 10/10. Staff: 10/10. My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary here, and I have never felt so relaxed and captivated by such breathtaking beauty. Even though it rained, we still enjoyed our cozy over-the-water bungalow, making the experience even more special. From stunning sunsets to delicious food, it was the perfect mix of romance and relaxation. An unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to return! Short ferry ride from Tahiti!

  Moorea Hilton French Polynesia

  This is a beautiful hotel, we stayed at one of the over the water bungalow's. Staff is great and very helpful with the exception of the hostesses at the main restaurant. Check-in and check- out is cumbersome. It was expensive but was worth the money (3 days close to $ 3.000.00) includes breakfast with AmEx. Following happened though: I made my reservation and paid for it through American Express which gave me a $ 100.00 hotel credit. The hotel did not inform me of this credit. I checked into this hotel on January 24, 2025 and checked out on January 27, 2025. I was informed, at the time of checkout, that I had a credit of $ 100.00 that was issued for restaurants', spa services, etc. Before I left the hotel, I spoke with the hotel reception desk manager and informed him that I was going to dispute one of the restaurant charges, which is less than $ 100.00 and was on my husbands credit card. I requested that the $ 100.00 credit to be applied to this dispute. Hotel refused to refund the $ 93.48 restaurant charge to my credit card company.
