It is a nice big hotel 🏨 with a good breakfast menu and has a good facilities for all guests. The rooms are in need of upgrading as some are a bit dated and have a specific smell. Otherwise it is a good place to stay in Panama 🇵🇦 city.

Fun stay for a bday trip
Stayed at RIU plaza for a family member’s birthday trip. We enjoyed our time and stay with family and friends. Great location in the city.

Excellent Stay
My second stay at the Riu Plaza in Panama. I just love the convenient location for getting around the city and the abundance of fast food and small groceries within short walking distance. I also enjoy the awesome breakfast buffet.
- Advisory*Important Information* Panama imposes various restrictions each year for Easter. They usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday and run a few days past Easter Sunday. The following regulations may be enforced: -Alcohol is restricted Thursday, midnight at 12:00 am to Saturday midnight at 12:00 am. -Music is banned in Discos and public places. ,(AI resorts get a permit enabling them to serve alcohol and play music within the resort)
