We just returned from our stay at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater and wow — this hotel truly exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Everyone was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location couldn’t be more perfect — we were within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, and attractions in Clearwater Beach, but the hotel still felt like a peaceful retreat. We slept wonderfully every night — the room was quiet, comfortable, and the beds were amazing. And the views! We had a balcony overlooking the Gulf and were treated to stunning sunsets every evening. It became our favorite way to wind down each day — sipping a drink and watching the sky light up in color. Speaking of drinks… the food and cocktails at the hotel were fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether we were poolside or dining indoors, every meal was a treat. We can’t wait to return. The Hyatt Regency Clearwater made our vacation not just relaxing, but truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Perfect Option
The location is wonderful, the service is outstanding, and the rooms are perfect. On top of that, it’s super kid-friendly—the best pool I’ve ever been in, heated and with a beautiful view of the beach. We loved to have the beach just a few steps and nice bars around for me and my husband. Highly recommend

Too expensive ($1000) for a "partial ocean view room" which literally faces another building... you will have to come out of the room and lean in to get the ocean view... the room was tiny.. We moved to residence inn and got a harbor view room double the size at one third the price... The pools are also same...

Apr 21, 2025Pretty Good Family-Friendly Resort in Clearwater
The hotel staff were super friendly, the rooms were okay, little small for the suite we got, and could use some updating. The main pool was a little cold for us and it was super windy when we were there, so we didn't really use it. The kiddie pool was much warmer and better for our 22-month old daughter. The service at the rooftop restaurant was a little slow but food was decent. Little pricey. I love Shor restaurant located in the resort - the buffet breakfast was great and the nighttime menu offered great dinner options. We ordered the steak and brussels sprouts. Overall a great resort for families and perfect location - near the beach and strip of the stores/restaurants.

Great for a family
The hotel is perfectly located across the street from the beach and close to all the restaurants . The view from our room was amazing. It is perfect for a family with kids. I would 100% return in the future and would recommend to anyone looking to go to Clearwater Beqch.
