Apr 24, 2025Great hotel for families visiting London
My family and I stayed at the Churchill for 5 nights in March for our kids' spring break. It was the kids' first time in London and the hotel had a nice basket of toiletries and kids' robes. I loved staying on the 8th floor of the hotel with access to the lounge. This lounge access gave us breakfast and a heavy snack from 5:30-7pm, which a couple of times left us cancelling our dinner reservations. The rooms are small but clean and modern. The staff of this hotel stand out for their hospitality and professionalism, especially Rama at the front door. We would definitely return to the Churchill and recommend it to all of our friends!

Great Experience at Hyatt Portman Sqaure
Staff was extremely helpful at Hyatt. Jaimin at front desk check in was extremely helpful. Hotel was clean, rooms were spacious. Breakfast had a good large variety, good vegetarian options. Centrally located, close to Selfridges. Overall a great experience, will be back.

Gorgeous hotel with a top notch staff
If you are looking for more than a place to rest your head, look no further. The staff is attentive and warm and does a great job of making you feel special. In addition to the excellent service, the hotel is impeccable. We slept in the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in.

One of the best service I have seen in a London hotel, room is comfortable but need modernising especially the bathroom. I believe once the work on the rooms and especially the bathrooms is completed no doubt it will be one of the best hotels in London as it has an excellent location and as I said excellent service by very efficient professional committed staff.

Unfortunately, the experience at the Churchill was not up to standard for what I'm used to with other Hyatts. They effectively treat their guests like criminals. If you want a mini bar, you have to pay for the whole thing and have it delivered! Everything little thing costs extra. Plus a 13.5% service charge. You want a burger? Doesn't come with fries. You have to pay an extra 14 pounds for that privilege. Room service costs 7 pounds for delivery and then a 13.5% service charge is added on top. Want coffee with al a carte breakfast? 7 pounds EACH for an americano. And they've usually poured it before you know what you're paying. Or pay a ridiculous 37 pound for the full breakfast. I hated my experience. I won't be returning.
