The ceviche at Fresco ceviche is the best I’ve ever had!! The service feels more like friends! Amazing. Ask for the secret salsa!! Jesus and Guadalupe are incredible! The ingredients are super fresh, the vibe is electric, my wife and I will back to this resort for the ceviche alone!!

Fresco ceviche chef Guadalupe and server Jesus. The shrimp ceviche was very fresh and the chef and server were quick and friendly. The location by the pool made for a great lunch option. Went twice during a short stay at the resort. Thanks for the good food!

Amazing resort in Cancun
I love how the Hyatt Vivid is isolated from other resorts, but you don’t feel disconnected. Angel a.k.a. “Mexican Chocolate” puts his heart and soul into every entertainment experience. Dalia has some of the best fish tacos and churros I’ve ever had. The service and food at Fresco Ceviche at the Hyatt provided by Guadalupe and Jesus is second to none. 10/10 would visit again.

Stayed for 5 night getaway in a junior suite ocean/golf view room. Apparently slightly off week so, the hotel was maybe 60% occupied. Rooms & Overall Resort: 8/10. Rooms were nice with nice amenities. Resort was smaller property. We enjoyed not having to worry about getting spots at pools or beach club. We’ve stayed in other properties in Cancun, Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. The construction is mostly the same in Mexico…concrete, so we were not expecting a 5 star Vegas hotel. But we were pleased. Tip for next time: I will make sure to request Bay View. The ocean/golf view did have view of the ocean along with other hotels…oh and the main highway through the hotel zone which was loud when your balcony door was open. Service: 10/10. Hotel was well staffed where and when it mattered. Staff went out of their way to help where they could. I am that person who will tip up front at beach club or pool if I’m going to be hanging out for a while. I feel it helps get the best service possible. Restaurants/Food: 7/10. I was actually very pleased with the food for an all inclusive resort. Yes can you go find a really nice restaurant off property and spend the $$ and think it was best meal of trip. Not every restaurant open every night (probably staffing) but easy to plan around that. Every seafood dish we ordered was enjoyable. Just to note the sushi restaurant is on the roof top and the big complaint can be the wind. But the hotel appeared to be aware and working on building a larger glass barrier going forward. I think our favorite dishes came from the beach club. But really enjoyed dishes from the Sushi, Mexican, Ceviche, and Taco truck. Tip: the reservations open at 9am. But as a party of two, it was not long waiting if we did not make a reservation. May be different for party of 5 or more? Beach Club: very nice. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes. Unfortunately when we were there, there was a new hotel being constructed next door. But it didn’t stop us from enjoying the two separate days we spent there. Music and entertainment starts at 1:00 and drowns out the construction. The pools on the upper part are nice to cool off in and are for anyone to hop in. Tip: The upper section day beds require reservation and the beds by the two upper pools require a minimum alcohol purchase. And yes we did that and enjoyed it. The service from Daniel was excellent. Oh and there is a little convenience store across the street you can quickly run walk to if you need anything for room that hotel doesn’t have or charges $$$$ for Golf: didn’t get to play the course, since it was a couples getaway. but it looked like a nice course.

Great food and friendly staffs
Ceviches were very fresh and staffs were super friendly throughout whole time. Also there are swim up bars both at the lobby area and also on the roof top. They provide you with non-alcoholic welcome drinks once you arrive even before you are checked in.
