A really wonderful stay, thank you. We walked into the lobby which smelt nice and was quiet and peaceful. We were acknowledged and greeted as soon as we were in the lobby by a lovely smiling lady. We had asked if it was possible for an early check in and this was confirmed which was wonderful. Five star plus service. We had a gift of fruit and port delivered to our room which was stunning. Our room was lovely and large. We only had 1 night stay but slept brilliantly. Coffee machine was a nice touch. Fantastic views. Water machine in corridor with automatic corridor lights. Hotel was in a great location, also close to supermarkets and local restaurants. There is a spa and gym but unfortunately the beautiful outdoor swimming pool was closed during our stay. The murals were delightful. This was my third time in Lisbon and by far my best experience, top for customer service, location and room quality.

Excellent!
Excellent hotel all round. Enjoyed a 4 day city break in Lisbon. The hotel is in a good location for metro and buses, so easy to get around. Our room on the ground floor had no view but we didn't spend much time in it so no matter. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable and we slept well in the comfy beds. The hotel has a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, we found all staff throughout the hotel to be polite, courteous and efficient. The buffet breakfast was superb, a huge selection of fresh appetising food. Staff very attentive, monitoring and replenishing the food items. Used the pool, which was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Only a couple of minor gripes, one is we don't drink coffee, so a kettle and teabags in the room were supplied upon request but taken away after a couple of days! Also an issue with door and safe keys which stopped working too early. Soon reinstated, just a nuisance really. Overall, a really enjoyable stay at this lovely hotel in this great city.

Mar 17, 2025Could not access my room! Terrible service.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. I arrived at 00:50, but when I tried to enter my room, it was locked. The staff at reception was unable to open it either, which was especially frustrating since my belongings, including important medication, were inside. After an hour, I was assigned a different room, but 20 minutes later, the receptionist called to inform me that the original room had been unlocked. By the time I finally got into bed, it was around 02:20. This delay ruined my next day, as I had other plans that I had to rearrange because I was so exhausted. I had to take an unplanned nap. When I asked for a late checkout to make up for the lost time, I was offered only two additional hours, which was not nearly enough given the situation, especially since I had other plans at that time. They did not offer any alternative solutions to compensate for the inconvenience. On top of that, I had to explain my issue to every staff member I encountered, as there was no communication between them about my situation. And she also told me every room was booked in the hotel which I really doubt in that big hotel. Overall, the service was terrible, and the entire experience was incredibly frustrating. I will not be staying here again and will be sure to share my experience with others. This hotel did not meet expectations, and this should never happen in a five star hotels. P.S the picture is the hotel staff trying to unlock my door in the middle of the night.

Recommended
Nice modern hotel. Welcomed with a glass of Cava - always a good start. Rooms and bathrooms great. Breakfast good … and staff all friendly. You can order a fresh omelette or whatever. Saraya, the Guest Relations Manager, is fantastic and full of useful info. Only negative is you have to pay to access the indoor pool - you only get one hour per trip free. In the summer that wouldn’t matter but in the winter it would be nice to have free access to the indoor pool. We would definitely return.

Booked a city break with British Airways and selected this hotel. Not in the city centre but a pleasant fifteen minute walk away. Basic but with a comfortble and spacious room. Breakfast was included and there was a fine selection each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great Italian restuarant not more than 100 yards from the hotel where we ate twice.
