Montego Bay - Iberostar Rose Hall Selection Suites
The Star Team were Awesome!! They work hard and such an amazing group of people ( Fagan, Andre and Stretch to name a few) Nadene was very helpful with day to day questions for setting up spa and excursions. The food was amazing, we ate like pigs! I was very impressed with the gym, definitely felt comfortable to keep a routine going for a few days while I was there.

Big up - Iberostar Selection - Family Trip Jamaica
Big up to Iberostar Selection Rose Hall! We had an amazing family trip. My wife and I got married at the Grand 10 years ago, and this anniversary getaway with our kids was exactly what we needed. The hotel is beautiful—modern, updated, and very well maintained. Our kids loved the beach, snorkeling, the lazy river, and all the nonstop entertainment. My wife was thrilled to find several vegan options available at every restaurant, which made meals so much easier and more enjoyable. Most of the staff were fantastic, though there was one lifeguard by the Waves beach who asked for $5 just to take a photo of my family—not cool. Big shoutout to everyone at the Iberostar Star Camp. This team is a true gem. Special thanks to Kimberlee and her team—I wish I remembered all their names, but every single one of them was a superstar. Another standout was the Star Friends entertainment team. Big up to Ruth and Stretch for bringing the vibes and making everyone feel Irie! Huge thanks to Randy and Damar at the Steakhouse and Seafood restaurant for a beautiful meal and a private dining experience on the beach. Shoutout to Nadine for setting it all up and to Dwayne from Digipix for capturing the memories. The food was delicious, and we also had a great time at the Hibachi restaurant. Last but not least, big up to the awesome team out front helping with luggage and making everyone feel welcome. Thanks to Dale, Shania, and Kimberlee at the concierge desk for their warm hospitality.

Mixed experience
Pros: - The entire staff is very friendly, and tries to help however needed - Spa offers nice variety of services, some of which are amazing. Just make sure you speak up for what you want / need. I had one "ok" experience and one great one - because I described my needs better. - Kids club has varying and friendly staff, a variety of activities throughout the day, and even night time parties so the adults can have private time. However, my kids complained that the staff often didn't stick to the planned schedule of activities, which was disappointing when they wanted to attend for a specific activity. - A couple of great restaurants - hibachi is fun, Greek was far and away the best food although seemed to be the least crowded - Kids enjoyed the pools and especially the lazy river and water park! - Definitely take advantage of excursions like Dunns River Falls and Luminous Lagoon Cons - Most of the restaurants are mediocre at best. Don't come here if good food is important to you. - Personalized concierge service is a plus, but apparently they work on commission to get you to go to the Iberostar Member sales pitch. There you deal with 3 HOURS (despite what they say) of pushy people trying to get you to buy into their packages. Prior to that, we received multiple phone calls and and notes under our door to attend. This one thing is probably the reason I will never go to another Iberostar again. - I was underwhelmed by the state of the room (e.g., chipped tiles, poor paint /patches), and AC was broken (I had a choice of arctic blast or nothing) despite me mentioning this on day one - Room cleaning seemed sporadic and rushed. Sometimes they didn't come until LATE afternoon so we had to forego it altogether in order to go back to our room. - We received "$600" in resort credits, but these are basically useless. They work for the spa and bottles of wine - at $25 discount at a time only if you spend >$100.

Amazing staff amazing property amazing view.
Having a wonderful time at iberostar suites. Infinity pool and lazy River are awesome. Great entertainment if that’s your thing. Sheena and Shania are our concierges. They check in on a regular basis to make sure we are all good and enjoying ourselves. Any issues we had they were on top of it and either corrected or found someone who could. Thankyou both for your attentiveness and kindness. We bought into the iberostar club while we were here. Abbi is very sweet and toured us around the grand property. Dorington talked through with us all the details of what you get with the membership. We did find this very frustrating as they promised us many things but then after signing found out not everything they promised was true for us. We asked to see the contract before payment but he said they were doing the paperwork but he needed our cards first to take payment. That was bad on our part. We should have read everything first. They said we get a massage everyday for free but found out later when we went to book that it’s only 2 x week if we’re staying in the suites but if we stayed in the grand then we would’ve gotten everyday. Not that we need one everyday and we’re very happy with twice a week but it’s not what was promised. Also we found out while signing contracts that there is a 149.00 fee a year to use website and travel agent services. They pay the first 3 years then we pay the remainder to 25 years. Again if they told us this upfront it wouldn’t have been an issue but they never mentioned it til after membership was paid which was not cool. Also told we would get $1000 cash back towards our flights when we travel to an iberostar and found out that that was a promotion and no longer active. They did end up giving us this promotion so Thankyou for that. I just feel that they over promised and under delivered but if they had been honest and forthright with us from the beginning we would have been fine with everything because in the end we are very happy with the perks we’re getting from the membership it was just frustrating getting to this point and we lost a whole day of vacation in the sales office. I would like to say Thankyou to Abbi and Dorington for taking time afterwards to check on us and making sure we were happy with everything. Abbi also booked spa days for us and reservations for dinner with her at the Greek restaurant. She is very sweet kind and went out of her way to help us. Looking forward to many more trips with iberostar around the world.
