    Thoroughly Excellent

Absolutely stunning hotel, we were first time visitors but now completely understand why this wonderful hotel has so many repeat visitors. We are seasoned travelers and have not found this level of service before outside of SE Asia! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was impeccable. The hotel just feels so peaceful, it was full during our stay but never felt overly busy Rooms are a little bit dated but spotlessly clean with an impeccable standard of cleaning. They could do with a few more electrical sockets but that is literally the only thing I can think of to improve. Staff are , without exception, warm and professional especially the superstar that is Tiziana, who is always around to check that you are enjoying yourself Breakfast has endless options again amongst the best we have experienced. In fact my only criticism is that this hotel is so good it will spoil your enjoyment of other hotels you stay in as you will be constantly comparing! We moved on to Lanzarote and have not nothing but that since we arrived! This hotel is now or go to option when we are back in Tenerife. Thank you JOIA El Mirador we will be back

    Better each time!

We stayed at the JOIA El Mirador for the 4th time last week. As ever the hotel was fantastic. The facilities are excellent and the rooms modern, spacious and with every detail thought about to enhance the stay. The staff, as always, were superb and consistent. No detail or request is too much, they genuinely want to ensure the guests have a wonderful experience. We visited when there were strikes in the hospitality industry in Tenerife. Interestingly the hotel had a full complement of staff these days, and kudos to the General Manager and Butler who spoke to guests individually to assure us about the service at the hotel and the staff well being. We will return!

    Fabulous hotel

Just returned from 11 nights in the fabulous mirador hotel. This is our favourite home from home. It’s relaxing restful with exceptional service from all the staff, fantastic location with amazing views and within walking distance to beaches, shops and cafes. A special thank you to Tiziana, Diana and all the team for making our holiday just amazing. ( 6th visit ) already planning our return. Sharon

A terrific five night stay .

We last stayed here 11 years ago and it was okay then , but we preferred the Salome (same group , nearby) . In recent years , however , we have found that the Salome has become very expensive , and its food disappointing. We had read good reviews of the Mirador , and decided to try it again. We are glad that we did. Everything about it was special , from the moment that we arrived . Staff were without exception friendly , efficient and welcoming. Our room was just as it should have been - well appointed and very comfortable ( slight gripe - the heating was reluctant to come on when it turned cold at night). The grounds and pool area are beautiful and there was always somewhere to get a lounger in sun or shade.Pool lovely to use and a good temperature. Fitness facilities very good. The buffet restaurant was excellent and very pleasant to dine at either inside or outside . Food at breakfast and dinner of a high standard and plenty of choice (slight gripe - the ice cream could be creamier and the toaster at breakfast was a pain ). Good entertainment after dinner in the bar in a gorgeous setting . We had a wonderful stay and intend to return.

    Paradise Revisited….

Having returned home after our Tenth yearly visit to Paradise, we have booked for next year to enjoy (God willing) the delights of el Mirador once again. It’s hard to wait a whole year but the prospect will keep us going. We look forward to the warm welcome by all the friendly, smiling staff led by the ever loving and efficient Tiziana. The day starts with a truly magnificent buffet breakfast accompanied by the reassuring sound of that gem of a chef, Amilcar, beating the hell out of someone’s omelette . After that, the day is yours to sunbathe, swim, explore, go to the gym or spar, the grounds are spacious and never crowded. We stayed in a Star Prestige Junior Suite, which affords ample sunbathing as well as an open bar affording all day refreshment, my only complaint there, the coffee machine often didn’t function first thing , just when one needs a coffee! However, we were very well looked after by the ever cheerful Diana, so no real complaints. As I said, we look forward to next year meeting old friends among the guests and staff….That is what makes the hotel….Special..
