Jan 15, 2025A rather special Hotel
What makes this hotel so special - probablly the staff ! From Day 1 and reception by Jonathan who is so enthusiastic - welcoming you with Champagne and having all the time in the world to show you round the Hotel to the small things like super clean rooms - I dont know how they do it but I never saw a maid in the room, it was as if by magic. Food and drink are superb - we went half board and there were so many options from the buffet to one of 7/8 set meals each evening - enough to satisfy anyone. Big shout out to Carlos in the restaurant who was super attentive! We also upgraded to the Privalege option which gives you access to private lounge areas (not that the rest of the hotel is busy) but it also gives you access to all day snacks and drinks via one of 2 outdoor chilled rooms. Just about any drink you can think of including Champagne - Tattinger & Moet included ! The food in these outdoor rooms was also excellent and replensihed many times per day. Thanks also to Carla Coca who tok the time to show us a variety of different rooms -ready for our return visit ! Outside of the Hotel (2 minute walk) is a beautiful and safe beach with a huge variety of restaurants. Further along the Promenade is a luxury shopping Mall which has big brand names and very reasonable prices. We stayed in the Prestige Star Junior Suite (the prestige gives the extra exclusive access). These are lovely rooms but you will have to weigh the extra cost for the exclusivity, personally for us it was worth it !

Unbelievably great hotel in Tenerife.
We have been to many 5 Star hotels over the years and thought that we had found the best until we came to this hotel. The staff are extremely professional and couldn't be better. The food every day is amazing. The location is so good in a beautiful part of Costa Adeje.

Absolutely wonderful
It was my husband and i first visit to the El Mirador, upon arrival we were blown away by the beautiful interior of the hotel, it smells amazing too. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded to a prestige room, WOW! The room, the prestige area and all the extras you get as part of the prestige package was simply fabulous! Dined at the hotel restaurant one evening, the food was delicious and the waitors were so attentive. Breakfast was a delight every morning. This is the best hotel we have ever been to, we have never been so relaxed and well looked after. We vowed to return, and we have just booked to return again in August '25. I cannot wait!

Incredible, 5 star at its best
A totally incredible experience. From the ease of booking in, calm and relaxed with a drink of choice. The manager showed us around the facilities. The junior suite is amazing, there is nothing that you couldn’t want for at this hotel. Food is excellent, ambience is wonderful, the hotel is spotless but informal and all members of staff are polite and friendly. There are enough sun beds for everyone and the attendant cannot do enough for you. This is what 5 star looks like, a truly amazing holiday.

absolutely first class holiday
Just got back from 10 nights (6th Dec to 16th Dec) at the El Mirador. So my simple review is of the prestige section of the hotel as we stopped in room 1208. Firstly firt time here in this adults ony hotel, on arrival everything looked and felt very impressive with very kind and welcoming staff, we got a basic tour before being taken to our magnificent room that had a lovely balcony with two chairs and two sun lounges. The room came with its own mini bar and wine fridege plus jars of snacks etc (the chocolate cones are amazing) these are filled up each and every day with the simple request to have more soft drinks as I dont drink alchohol also adhered too which was nice, I have to say my wife does like a glass of wine but the wine in the wine fridge was all red wine, bit starnge we thought. The sunbathing area including the little booths that contain all drinks and snacks where perfect. Breakfast in the prestige section was simply brilliant. The spa was small but if youre in pretige its free so we visited pretty much everyday. But the best bit about this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble, I cant rember all the names but Jonathon (butler) Davide (waiter at breakfast) are just two out of the many amazing staff. Today is Tuesday 17th December so first day back and Ive booked to go again for 10 nights on the 8th Febuary 2025, I have also upgraded the room to a ? I think its a junior suite in the pretige section so I am so looking forward to my second visit here. P.S we ate out at the evening every night bar our final night where we ate at the hotel restaurant, It was genuinely the best meal of the holiday, the Tacos plus the Guinea fowl was to die for.
