As a non-smoker, I found it terrible to have ash trays at every outdoor bar area and the pool. This resort is kid friendly; I don’t understand allowing smoking everywhere and even by the pool around children. I did not appreciate being around someone smoking every where I went. Otherwise the resort was decent and food was good. Will not return to this resort.

Terrible, no way this is a Curio Hilton. Mold and peeling paint in both rooms they gave us. Tower is slightly better than the low rise buildings. The buffet had good food, but was like a zoo, no seating services. The individual restaurants were good for dinner but service was generally a Zero.

The hotel is a solid hotel. About 15 min from airport and 10 min walk into town makes it definitely convenient. Upon arrival the hotel had a very long check in line. I am gold status so was able to wait in a short line that took forever. The staff was overwhelmed but very friendly. Our room was ok. Definitely dated and needed TLC. Cracks in wall, barely any closet space, torn curtains. Below the curio level you’d expect from Hilton. The housekeeping was sub par. Would come at 8:30/9 am to try to clean room. They did a lackluster job of that also. Sheets were stained. Sand in the rug. Overall not too impressed with them. They would roll their eyes when we asked them to come back in an hour. Sometimes they would never come back and almost always forgot our towels. Food was decent. Could always find something to eat. The Mexican was really very good. Staff is so overwhelmed there but all were nice. They seem to run out of some stuff at Buffett but liked that it is basically open all day. Beach is ok. Small and rocky but nice view. Pool is also nice. Waterpark is decent. No one is really watching you but I have older kids so it was fine. No blender for drinks - that was a bit disappointing. Enjoyed the other amenities such as the gym and pickleball courts. Never had an issue getting chairs. AC was awesome and pressure in shower. Overall the rooms could use an overhaul and some of the staff. But Curacao is amazing and if you go on not expecting 5 star you’ll be fine. I felt safe and didn’t see anything of. Concern there.

I have had an amazing experience. And Ray helped us with navigating the island and did is a fun volleyball referee. The beach is lovely and the staff is friendly and always ready to help. The piñacoladas are delicious and the bar staff is very accommodating because some of us do not drink alcohol.

Fab fam trip loved it
Fabulous trip! We read all the reviews & felt our expectations were set & then met. Traveled from Boston with my husband, two children ages 12 & 10. We were greeted on arrival with a cold drink & an ocean view room ready prior to 4 to check in. View gorgeous. -food: buffet was great. Restaurant bookings difficult, online slow to use & line at 10 am to book for next evening meal was long. Once booked restaurant always waited 20+ min to be sat & 15-20 min for service. Sushi/seafood was great. Had better experience at buffet overall. -bar service could be better, but overall not bad. There should be frozen drinks at all the bars. Currently only in smoothy bar. We liked the “help yourself” beer station by coffee bar & self service wine/beer at lunch. -coffee bar was nice. -massages in the beach good, but not run by hotel. This causes a lot of miscommunication. Should all be one -mangrove side better for families in my opinion -water park fab. Never to busy. -activities fun. Pickle ball court great. Some evening activities cancelled for rain. Should have a back up plan. -scuba diving at groove on site was wonderful! Fabulous instructors& we had an excellent 4 dives with our kids! -clean resort. Updates to paint could be improved in rooms. -close walk to town, really cool!
