    Nice relaxing stay!

    Starting off with the good…. The people were amazing throughout our stay. Special shout out to Isaac and Armando incredible butler duo and Carlos who took care of us at the pool! Laura who served us drinks to keep us cool and Erick who hustled every evening in the buffet. Bartenders were in general friendly and kept our glasses full. Awesome omelet station in the am! Rooms were clean and cool! Less than good… no beach (although not a surprise to us you should atleast be aware), mad rush for chairs in the am that then remained empty a good chunk of the day (I know not unique to this resort), food was average I would say for an all inclusive - seafood often overcooked, steaks lacked seasoning, underwhelmed by the tequila tasting where were expecting to learn a little more about the liquor,

    Amazing Vaca!!

    We loved this resort!!! It’s a small resort and everything is close!!! This was the cleanest resort we have ever been too!! Food was amazing!! We had the most amazing butler Enrique!! He was always there if we needed anything!!! Best vacation!!

    A new resort in the Riviera Maya close to Cancun

    The Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya in Mexico is a taste of paradise! From the moment you arrive, the resort exudes an inviting and luxurious atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at ease. The resort is only a year old so everything is new and fresh. This adults-only haven perfectly blends laid-back island vibes with great service, making it the perfect destination for our winter holiday. [Getting here was a disaster, however. Sunwing Vacations was late departing. We waited over an hour at the Cancun airport for transportation. The 20-minute ride from the airport to our resort took over 2 hours because the driver could not find it! Never again, Sunwing. Never again.] Back to Margaritaville… The accommodations are stunning—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with a tropical flair that feels both chic and cozy. We could not get over the color coordination throughout the entire resort. They have swim-up suites, too. Dining at Margaritaville Island Reserve was an experience in itself. The variety and quality of food are very good, with options to suit every palate. From gourmet seafood dishes to casual beachside tacos, every meal feels like a celebration of flavor. The staff deserves special mention. We love vacations in Mexico because Mexican people are so humble, kind, and joyful. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine desire to make your stay unforgettable are outstanding. They go above and beyond in every way. We were very pleased with the service. The pools are pristine and perfectly situated for both relaxation and socializing. The activities are thoughtfully created, but by the end of the week we were yearning for something more than what was offered. We came for the sunshine and relaxation, but Margaritaville has more of a party atmosphere. Our room was a little too close to the Landshark Restaurant where the late night entertainment happens. So if you’re looking for quiet, book one of the rooms on the other side of the resort, away from the Landshark. If you’re in need of extra pampering, the spa is a sanctuary of bliss, we were told. We did not take advantage of it, but maybe next time. We did miss a beach at this resort. We love walking on the beach but one of the hurricanes actually wiped out the beach up and down this part of the coast. There is NO beach, and we miss that. Would we go back to Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya? Yes, but not with Sunwing.ca (And don’t confuse this adults-only resort with its sister resort, the Margaritaville Riviera Cancun, which is a family-oriented resort.)

    First time at a Margaritaville and I will definitely go back. Relaxing and so beautiful.

    I would highly recommend Margaritaille for a vacation. Karen and Frida are amazing butlers and have the most amazing personalities and do their job with the utmost professionalism and details. They went over and above as well. Our pool butler Charlie ( Carlos ) was also excellent as his job and was attentive to our every need! All restaurants were amazing and the service is excellent at this resort. A very clean and well maintained property. Bars are so fun and the drinks are amazing at the Salted Rim.

    Great Resort

    Great resort! We enjoyed the upbeat experience with the pool entertainment everyday. The food was great with a variety of different options. I would recommend this resort to anyone and would go back myself. What really made our stay more than worth it was the excellent customer service by the employees. At the boathouse, Roberto, Noel, Cristian. 5 o'clock somewhere, Daniel, Laura, Michael, Ivan. Entertainment, Angel, Mariel and Regina.
