Jan 16, 2025A Perfect Vacation
I really enjoyed this Marriott and would give 10 stars if this was possible. I am a Platinum Marriott member and we were upgraded to a beachfront room which was gorgeous. What really sets this hotel apart is the customer service. I wish that I could remember everyone’s name but Juan at breakfast and Fernanda at the front desk were fantastic. Everything here is nice and you get a lot of perks. We will definitely return. The perks include free drinks, a tequila tasting, daily $25 credit and access to a beautiful spa. You can walk to the Marina for dinner or shopping and we really loved the warmth of the people!

Recent visit
We have been coming for approximately 10 years. We know the resort is undergoing changes, but we always have a great time. The staff is excellent. We wanted to highlight our waiter in training at Mikado, Carlos Hernandez. We couldn’t believe he just started! He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. I’m sure he will go far!

Jan 10, 2025High Expense, Poor Quality
Very disappointing. Check in was a nightmare. Sent to the wrong floor then the wrong room number. Finally the third room was correct. Only one out of 3 lobby elevators worked causing much delay. A server took our order and never returned. Fountain pools were dirty. Bar and restaurant service was very slow even though there were adequate number of staff. Definitely not up to Marriott standards.

A Fun Christmas-New Year's stay.
Stayed 10 days starting at Dec 25. This was my second Christmas-New Year week '23 & '24. The propery was at 99% capacity. The property and, more importantly, were excellent. They were accomodating in every way. I would return there in a minute. I recommend the New Year's eve bash. The was some construction going on. Some of the elevators were under remodel which caused some minor delay. Even with this slight inconvenience the propery is excellent. Thanks Marriott.

Perfect stay in Puerto Vallarta
As comfortable and seamless a holiday as we’ve ever had. Perfect pre- Christmas getaway for our three adult children along with my wife and I. Service and staff are flawless and the mid-size resort in an amazing location was perfect for us all. It was our first stay but definitely not our last. Can’t wait to go back.
