Pleasant & Enjoyable
Rooms, facilities, entertainment, spa and beach area were very nice and enjoyable. The bar staff were efficient, friendly and hard working in keeping up with demands. Juanita Chavanlarria was exceptional in her friendly and always up beat personality, always tending to anything I needed. The food was good but mostly limited to buffet style that was always crowded and noisy. Location next to Isla Mujeres Ferry was a plus.

Great location, great service, and a great time!
5/5 experience! This hotel is a great size for the deal you are getting. Tons of activities to do and plenty of space near the pool/ beach. The gym is pretty awesome. The spa is worth checking out and the overall service of the staff is fantastic! Specifically the Mexican restaurant on site is amazing. They literally made my birthday celebration fun and memorable not once, but two nights in a row! Rooms are very clean and made spotless for you everyday during your stay. The bartenders are great and can practically make any drink of your choosing. Overall this all inclusive beachfront hotel is a great spot to enjoy Cancun!

Disappointing Solicitation Experience – Wouldn’t Return
We were approached shortly after arriving by an employee (seemingly a marketer) who invited us to visit their sister hotel, Occidental Tucancún, with promises of a 2-for-1 spa massage, free shopping tour, bottle of tequila, and a beach bag of our choice. Lunch at the sister property was also mentioned. Instead, we were subjected to an aggressive hour-long sales pitch for a $43,000 vacation package, despite repeatedly saying no. Once it ended, the gifts were quickly handed over—my “choice” of beach bag was randomly tossed to me—and we were sent back to Costa Cancún without the lunch we were promised. As for the hotel itself, it was just okay. The buffet servers were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, reception staff were not welcoming, and most other staff members weren’t very pleasant either. Overall, the experience left a bitter taste, and I wouldn’t return. I’d recommend choosing another property without the pushy marketing tactics.

Wouldn’t recommend
I can’t say anything about this resort stay was fun. This is the first resort I have stayed at where most the staff walked around being rude or dismissive. There were several occasions where we witnessed staff yelling at visitors and had staff yell at us as well. The rooms are subpar with extremely thin. We often times could hear people talking in the room next to us. The beach was consistently dirty and extremely tiny. The pool was a decent size but again was consistently dirty. The food was bland and was repeated constantly. Drinks were made inconsistently and often times my husband would wait 10-15 minutes for one drink. Overall the resort is lacking in so many ways. I wish I would have read more reviews before we stayed.
