Charming property! Great location with beautiful views! Attentive staff, at all levels! Well groomed! We have been home for two days and our 20+ year old kids have said 20+ times that they want to go back! Great stories and lots of laughs!

Incredible
Great place to stay! This was our second time with our young family. The food is amazing, the pool is super warm, and the service is so good. Many workers remembered us from a year ago!

The wonderful men at valet/luggage assistance were very helpful. Armando, Carlos and Luis were very friendly. During check in , they were informative and courteous, as they were for our whole stay. They greeted us upon arrival and whenever we left the resort, we had friendly conversation coming back…made us feel welcome. They deserve recognition for their customer service.

The Kids Club Is Amazing!! Thank you Adrianna Carrillo!!
Our family visited the Occidental Nuevo Vallarta for the second time this year. It is a wonderful hotel, especially if you are travelling with your family. Adriana Carrillo runs the Kids Club and she is the most wonderful person, who creates fun & engaging activities for our children. My daughter had a fantastic time at Kids Club and we parents got to relax and enjoy the sun. A huge thank you to Adriana for going above and beyond! Adriana even remembered our children's names from our last visit and my daughter ran right up to her to give her a big hug when we arrived. Please give Adriana a big raise or promotion, she deserves it!! Also, it would be amazing to hire a second staff person to work with her at the kids club. This would allow for more support when there are lots of children present and your staff could provide 7 days a week care with room for them to take time off to spend with their families as well <3. Thank you again Adrianna, we love you!! Also, thank you to Leydi and Fernanda for the fantastic massages at the spa. We can't wait till our next visit to the Occidental Nuevo Vallarta!

Very disappointed. The food was horrible, not enough staff and just in general not worth the money. More like a 3 star, Maybe….. Do not pay more to upgrade, definitely not worth it. Rooms were noisy and no balconies not does the window open. Would not recommend nor would I stay there again.
