Myself, my husband and another couple stayed at Oceans Maya Royale for the first time and we will be back! We had 11 fantastic days with them. The food was awesome, the entertainment exceeded our expectations and the rooms where perfect! The staff where fabulous, Viri, Pillar and Kendall where exceptional and made us feel like we were part of the family. I miss them already and we have only been home 1 day. We met so many interesting people from around the globe, some of whom return every year. Our friends were celebrating their 25th anniversary. Viri , whom is a very special lady, planned a private activity on the beach complete with Champagne and hors d’oeuvres to help us celebrate. Which was finished off with a wonderful photo session with Eric. Thank you for a lovely surprise celebration. I would rate this resort at 4.8/5. The only downside was the minibar as lacking with very little selection and it took several requests to get an extra blanket in our room. All things considered, my new favorite resort! Thank you 💜🥂

Fun time with friends
I visited Ocean Maya to celebrate a group of friends for their birthdays. From the moment we arrived we were all made to feel special. We were I try to our butler, Fabian and he made sure we had an excellent time. Each day we were given the schedule, he made our reservations and even surprised the birthday people with fun decor and surprises in their rooms. My room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The privilege areas were well maintained and all of the staff were very accommodating. Margarita helped us arrange a trip to Tulum and the cenotes which was really cool, highly recommend you do that. The food was good and the drinks were flowing. I would recommend this resort for couples, friends or any adult who just wants to enjoy themselves.

This was our first time at this resort and we will definitely be returning. The food was excellent, grounds were very clean and well maintained and the service was the best we've ever had at a resort. ALL of the staff were so kind and welcoming; the maids, waitstaff, bartenders and even the maintence workers would always say hello. The bartenders worked very quickly even when the bars would get super busy and we never felt like we were being ignored, even when we weren't tipping. They are easily the best bartenders we've experienced in Mexico. The entertainment team made our stay so fun. Special shoutout to Carlos, Kendall, Moises and Vivi. The activities that they do are fun and well-suited for adults. We liked the silent disco, painting class and the cocktail competition. There are still a couple ways for the resort to be improved. One of our main concerns was that in our bathroom it seemed like we had an entire ant colony on the walls. If certain items had been left out on the counter (toiletries), we came back and there would be dozens of ants climbing on the products. It was kind of gross so we ended up keeping most of the stuff in the room instead of the bathroom. Next, the walkways in between the villas are gravel and are pretty unstable. Concrete would be better or at least some pavers to have more stable footing. Lastly, the schedule for the entertainment activities is not reliable. We missed a couple of activities that we would have liked to have done because the schedule was wrong. Also, it's a bummer that some of the better shows (fire show, mayan show) only run every other week so there's a good chance that not everyone gets to see it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

Painting Bottles and Activities
Carlos was awesome! My friend and I were disappointed to miss out on an activity and he made it happen on his own time. We had a lovely chat and he suggested other activities and when to talk to the team to get the most from our time here at Ocean Maya! Extremely happy with Carlos and the team!

Carlos from the entertainment team went above and beyond for my friend and I so we could enjoy the painting class!! Thank you so much for setting up a session for us by the beach!!!!!!! The food was also excellent and very tasty!! Beach sand was clean and chairs were set up every morning.
