    Enjoyable stay in Waikiki

    My daughter-in-law and I, along with 2 of my grandchildren stayed for a little more than a week. Overall it was a great experience. My family had never been to Hawaii and this was a first taste for them. The room was very comfortable, we had a great ocean view. I feel that the placement of the hotel was optimum; even though we were not on the beach, we had an unobstructed view of the ocean - not even the pricer hotels on the non-beach side of the Waikiki strip have that! We did not need to have a car, everything was in walking distance. The kids and I throughly enjoyed the pool, which we watched them thoroughly clean every morning. The staff was more than accommodating with any of our requests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice stay without having to dent your credit card too much.

    Two days of fun in the sun.

    Travis at the front desk did a wonderful job getting us checked in despite a glitch with our reservation. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the pool area had amazing views. Can't beat the location, steps to the beach and steps to the park.

    Enjoyable stay at the Waikiki hotel named Parkshore.

    I had a wonderful time, as usual. Clean hotel. The Waikiki location near the zoo is awesome. The staff was friendly, responsive and professional. To me, the Staff is the best part of the visit! They go above and beyond.The customers have access to hotel computer and can print out flight tickets. Liked the pool. The other customers pick up on the good vibes of the staff.I recommend Parkshore Hotel.

    Great location, friendly staff

    The hotel is in a great location with friendly and competent staff. Coffee in the morning in the lobby is a great plus. We have stayed at this hotel several times (at least 6 times in the past 3 years) and the staff and especially the valets knew us by name. We requested an ADA room and Travis was able to secure the room for us. We will definitely stay at this hotel again during our next trip to Oahu.

    Ok hotel, horrible check-in experience

    The lobby is gorgeous, and it conveniently has an ABC store connected to it. We had several problems with our check-in. The room we had reserved was not available because of some type of construction, so they put us in a room that did not fit our needs at all. We had reserved a room with 2 double beds and oceanfront; they put us in a room with a king bed and a foldout couch. We went down to the desk, and they offered us another room. When we went to this room, there was already somebody occupying it. So, the third time was a charm, and they finally got us the room we wanted. The location is nice because it is on the edge of downtown, so it is quieter and less busy, but the downtown is totally within walking distance. We were upset because there was a marathon taking place in front of the hotel on one of the days we were there, and the hotel never informed us that the road would be blocked so we couldn't reach the parking for several hours. Overall, the hotel was ok, but nothing great. We were so frustrated with the check-in that it left a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of the stay.
