Food and service was very good . Josely, Josue and Ignacio made it a lovely evening. Very attentive with very good English. The brisket was very tasty. Both the red and white wines were very good . The best restaurant at the planet Hollywood resort.

Great experience at Planet Hollywood
Our family of 4 just returned from Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and we had an amazing time. Our goal was mostly to relax and we were able to do that! We stayed in the Star Class Producers Suite and it was amazing! We had plenty of room to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool at night. There was a kitchen that had a full size refrigerator that was very well stocked with bottled water, soft drinks, juice and wine. Each bedroom also had a refrigerator with water and soft drinks. There were snacks in each room and they did a great job of restocking them every day. There was a nespresso machine in the kitchen as well as a little coffee pot in the bedroom. The bathroom was well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It wasn’t my favorite products but it did fine for me and kept me from having to pack those items and bring them from home. But if you are particular about your hair products definitely bring your own! From the moment we checked in we felt at home and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Jorley was our personal assistant and she was THE BEST!!! She took us on a tour of the property and showed us through our room and how to use the tv and how to order room service. Anytime we needed anything she was right there for us and answered all of our questions! She even met us at our room every night and escorted us to dinner. I can’t say enough good things about Jorley. It is evident that she cares for her guests and wants them all to have the best experience. With our room we got to have a private mixology class and that was lots of fun! Jeffery was our mixologist and he came to the room and taught us so much about how to properly mix drinks. The resort is very hilly but they have several carts that run constantly to take you to other parts of the resort if you don’t want to walk the hills so that is very convenient. There are two very beautiful pools that were large so we never felt crowded while we were in the pool. There are 2 swim up bars as well. The buffet for breakfast had tons of options from traditional Costa Rican dishes as well as items that we are more familiar with coming from the US. We didn’t eat at the buffet for lunch. We did have snacks from the food truck by the star class pool as well as grilled chicken sandwiches from Guy’s Burgers and all of that was really great. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian one with the Tex Mex a close second favorite. William was our server at the Italian restaurant and we loved him. We weren’t as crazy about the food at the steakhouse and we didn’t like the hibachi restaurant at all. Our chef was kind of awkward and before he began cooking he literally tossed a little ping pong ball around the table for 10-15 minutes. It was bizarre and just really weird. We couldn’t keep track of the ball and kept having to get up from the table and walk through the restaurant to track it down. We thought about just getting up and leaving but finally just “lost” the ball and he began cooking. But he didn’t talk to interact with us at all except to throw that dumb ball. The coffee/pastry shop closed at 6pm every night and we wished it had stayed open later in the evening. It would have been fun to go for a snack or ice cream after the nightly show. We went to a few of the shows and they were ok. Nothing amazing but fun to go watch. We only went to the beach once and enjoyed seeing the monkeys. But we spent the majority of our time at the pools. I would definitely go back to Planet Hollywood and I would DEFINITELY ask for Jorley! She truly is a gem!!

Costa with the mosta
Dylan and Joselin at the Blue Star Tex-mex restaurant did an outstanding job . Great food and wonderful service. Had a two year old with us and he was thoroughly entertained. It’s only our third night here and I fear they may have set the bar too high

MEMORABLE Vacation
We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Planet Hollywood in Costa Rica.....EVERYTHING was top notch across the board....customer service, activities for children, restaurants and the room itself are all OUTSTANDING......We ate at every restaurant and all were excellent.....however, without question, in my opinion the Blue Star Tex Mex restaurant was the best....the food was amazing and our wait staff, Dylan and Joselin, were amazing.....if you stay at this all inclusive resort, you will be extremely pleased throughout your stay. Excellent food at Texmex
Excellent restaurants. At the Texmex restaurant the food was excellent and the service by Joselyn and Junior was first class. Definitely recommend. The onion flower starter was most interesting and delicious. Main course varieties of chicken, Beef and fish proved to be delicious for everyone.
