We had an amazing time at the Riu Emerald Bay, Very clean, great service and friendly staff throughout the resort.Food and drinks were very good. Morning walks on the beach were a highlight. Will be back soon!

first all-inclusive that we had ever stayed in. mariachi band played all day on the beach. couldn't have a nap on the 16th floor because it was too loud. lunch buffet was so loud we couldn't talk to each other. all restaurants were buffet, although the brochures say that they are sit down restaurants. ocean was beautiful, pools were pristine, sitting areas were perfect, drinks flowed non stop. for a young family with kids, this is a good vacation, but i guess i am too old for this level of noise.

Riu Emerald Bay April 2025
Service was EXCELLENT. Pools are amazing, food is so good. A lot of different menus at the buffet. Breakfast was good too! Great room with an even better view! It was the best Resort ive been to :)

Riu Emerald Bay - "excelente!!"
This was our 2nd visit in a year to Emerald Bay and will not be our last. The hotel is in an excellent location and hash a big beautiful beach. Rooms were clean and well equipped and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. See you again soon!!

Excellent Spring Trip To RIU Emerald Bay
Travelled to this resort in the first part of April. Transfer from the airport was about 35min with a direct trip via sunwing. Check in was fast Me and my wife chose to stay in the tower due to the fact we wanted an ocean view room. We stayed on the 7th floor which is highly recommended for an unobstructed view. The room was dated but in very clean. We never had a problem with elevator wait times. Pools were very nice, always chairs at any time of day. Booze was typical of any RIU resort, decent amount of options but not really any high end items. Food overall was very good, lots of options all day long. There was lots of options and my wife and I never had a problem finding anything to eat. The booked restaurants were very good also. The RIU app made booking these a breeze and we booked most same day. Steak house would have been nice as its typical of any RIU iv been to but we definitely made due. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel, there was always someone cleaning. Public washrooms which typically get nasty were always kept up! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to go to Mazatlan.
