Rooms are great, food is fantastic and it's small enough that everything is close to your room. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our requests. Highly recommend this resort.

Riu Lupita
My wife my son and his partner and their daughter stayed at fthe Riu Lupita from April 2-9. We were pleased with all aspects of this smaller Riu property. Staff in all areas were friendly and efficient and we were surprised by the quality of the evening entertainment at such a small venue. We were concerned before arriving that the beach access required transportation however our bus trips turned out to be a highlight because of the exceptional bus driver who made each trip a welcome experience industry. Overall our holiday was made exceptional by the staff and facilities of the resort and we would return for another holiday there without hesitation.

Great food, no shortage of chairs, nice pools, quiet and not a crazy loud place. Again food was really great, wonderful selection of food and fruit. Nice rooms. The only thing people need to know because it is not well advertised is that this hotel is not on the beach. There is a bus that takes you there hourly from 8am until 6pm. There is a steak restaurant on the beach that you can book, but you can only book it on the day of at 7am and you will need to take a bus to the beach.

Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay at Riu Lupita
Our stay at Riu Lupita was exceptional! The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from — especially the sweets. While a few desserts were a bit off, having so many options made the experience more interesting and enjoyable. The unlimited drinks were a great part of the package. That said, I had quite a few, and as someone who doesn't drink much, I was surprised that I didn’t really feel any kind of alcohol “kick.” So, that part was a little underwhelming. The room itself was clean and satisfactory, and the staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. Being a tourist destination, it’s understandable that some staff subtly expect tips here and there — nothing unreasonable, and overall, their service was great. One suggestion would be to offer an earlier shuttle bus service for those who want to catch the sunrise or sunset at the beach. We had to walk early in the morning and again after the sunset, as there was no bus available during those times. Not a dealbreaker, but something that could enhance the experience even more. Hats off to their entertainment team — they did a fantastic job! From the three swimming pools and gym to the volleyball court and table tennis, there were plenty of activities that added real value to our stay. All in all, Riu Lupita is a wonderful place to relax and have a good time. Our overall experience was great.

Good vacation for the $ payd.
I had a vac.10ya and now i saw building ,rm,renovations. Rms look realy good. Food acceptable. Beverages and cofee...meh..bring you own straws ! Food at beach...so so... No umbrela on beach ! Just palm trees. In March April wind ,strong wawes. Enjoy your vac !
