Relaxing
Beautiful place definitely would be coming back in the near future perhaps to even look for a place to buy. Food was great service was awesome and the entertainment was impeccable. Only thing I wish they would stock the coffee in the room daily, but wasn't hard to get coffee to the room

Holiday 2025
Overall we had s lovely time at the Riu Montego Bay. The room was lovely with a sea view. We enjoyed the Rosehall buffet hall the most due to the wide choice of food. The waiting staff were lovely. Your entertainment staff were great especially to name - Alison & Rolypolly. We intend to return 2026.

I love the entertainment and the workers' treatment; they are very caring and friendly. The classes and music were excellent.

Jamaica 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Riu Montego Bay. At ours (& our travel agent’s) request our room was on ground level & right next to our friends’ with whom we traveled. Except for one day of rain, (lots of rain! Even the staff was commenting on how much they got), the weather was perfect. The hotel itself was very nice with 5 pools, lots of seating around each and probably one of the best buffets we have encountered amongst our yearly trips. They had a very expansive variety of foods, lots of spice for those who like that and many options for those, like me, who don't. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did have a few hiccups (ie: toilet flooded our bathroom-clean water only thank goodness, room key not working one day, mini bar not working another day & one instance with the room safe). Every issue was dealt with immediately and there were no repeat issues with any of them. (We have to give a shout out to Suzie, Allison, Charlotte & Shanika for their above & beyond service & assistance - re: the flood & moving us to another room on the other side of our friend’s room) Our room was cleaned daily & done very well. The staff were very friendly & helpful. I did a massage at their spa: the spa was warm, welcoming & my masseur was outstanding: shout out to Brihanna,(I did a 50 min relaxing massage: with taxes it was $148.35 USD). We spent most of our days at the beach where chairs were plenty & there were options for shade amongst some of the natural trees (no man made palapas). The water was so warm, with some seaweed so if you don't really like walking on that, just bring some water shoes. The only 'knock' on the beach we had was that it wasn't a long stretch that you could go walk along for a longer stroll but it was still beautiful. You weren't bothered up front and personal by locals selling items but there were anywhere from 3-7 males on kayaks selling their "wares" (it was a front really for selling weed). They were there daily & every time someone came down to the beach, they would whistle at them to try to get them to go over to them. It wasn't overly bothersome & once you told them no, they didn't harass you. We went April 13th-20th, so the hotel was maybe at 80% capacity but it no doubt is a popular choice for "girls' trips" as the ratio of women to men was probably 10-5. Lots of large groups but all definitely having a great time. We even went to the resort shows (something we don't normally do) & they were very good, the staff were very talented. Best show of the week was probably the Steel Drum band (Silver Birds?). We did one round of golf at Cinnamon Hill - we didn't bring our own clubs on this trip - rentals ranged from $30-$60 depending on the level of clubs you wanted to use. We had a 1:15pm tee time ($90 pp with cart). Staff were very friendly. Due to the heat & time of day, we were pretty much the only ones on the course; we didn't come across any other golfers the entire 18 holes. Unfortunately we also didn't see a drink cart & learned at the end of the round that the drink cart person had gone home. The only knock on the golf course was that they really push having a caddie. On the White Witch course it's mandatory but not at Cinnamon Hill. BUT, the score card doesn't even provide a layout of the course (they really want you to take a caddie) and we probably wasted close to 30 mins looking for some holes. Overall there are some very picturesque holes (the 5th hole has the ocean as a backdrop-just stunning) & the course is quite challenging. We still had an enjoyable round. All in all, we'd rate the trip an 8 out of 10. This was our 3rd trip to Jamaica, once to Negril & to Montego Bay(both of those were well over 10 yrs ago). We would probably come back here but not until we experience other regions or countries.

Had a blast!!!
This was my first all inclusive resort experience and it was perfect. Staff was so friendly and helpful (shoutout to Mar at Rose Hall and Aaliyah the bartender) and the entertainment was wonderful. You can party if you want or just relax if you want. I have to say that I was so impressed by the entertainers and dancers because they consistently kept the party going. The beach is literally steps away (request building 5 if you don’t want to walk far to the beach). The water park was so much fun. The food was delicious and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I will definitley stay here again when i come back to Jamaica!
