Apr 25, 2025Fantastic trip
Loved the hotel, amenities, various restaurants. The only negative experience we had was the extremely invasive noise from the sister hotel next door from the outdoor stage. It was enough of an intrusion at night, that I would request a room on the other side of the hotel in the future. Other than this negative experience, our trip was fantastic. Staff, service were also excellent!

Apr 25, 2025Needs a little sprucing up but still a great hotel with good service.
This was my 2nd trip since 2023 and this time I noticed wear and tear in some areas of the hotel. Mainly the hallways. The carpet was worn and dingy. My room had been surfaced cleaned but not deep cleaned. The bathroom had hair on the floor and loooked like it hadn’t been mopped. I called the next day and housekeeping got right on it. Had to request towels and washcloths as they forgot to leave clean ones. It was mainly small things but for the cost I expected more attention to detail. Love Riu for the vibe and energy but the next time I’m on the island I will check out some of the newer properties

I visited this property for a girls trip and we loved it....the all inclusive aspect was key...as the breakfast and lunch buffets were amazing, the dinner options were great and given the price of eating off property was insanely high, we were surprised at what a deal it was. The only negative experience we had was with the steak house...you have to line up at like 5-6 pm every day to even get your name on the list and after so many people they stop taking names...and even though you have your name on the list you still might not get in by 8 pm. The whole situation was weird and annoying. We finally got in one night and after all that wait the filet mignon was 75% fat :-( The other options were great though and for a short walk you can get to off property stores, restaurants, etc. The drinks were good, but you didn't have access to top shelf alcohol during the day, only well liquor...though still good :-) Definitely recommend this property...and they are good with not letting kids or teens in from the family side of the property.

Very good stay, would definitely visit again.
Everything was great. With the exception of the Italian rest. leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't attempt t take more than one bite. A Swanson TV meatball dinner would have been better. I did inform the manager that I did not like the meal, but I did not specifically state why....I didn't to have that conversation in the presence of others.

The resort was nice, all the facilities were well kept and clean, great pool and beach, food and service were good. The one complaint I would have is every single night they blast music with excessive bass at the neighboring RIU Palace until 10pm or 11pm so if you are anywhere on the side of the building facing that it's terrible. You can't go to sleep early if you have a flight or excursion planned they should at least tell you about that in advance.
