Our room was very nice, everyone there was so nice, the restaurants where really good very clean , the surrounding were beautiful.

Would come back again due to entertainment and food quality. The management for these are doing a good job.
We are currently staying here for another 2 days. Came in 3 days ago. Impressions ROOMS- needs updating and repairs. Multiple little things to be fixed. But a vacation breaker. ENTERTAINMENT- top notch. I would come back to RIU properties. Have gone to MoonPalace:(ok), Dreams (ok), Barcelo and Serenada in Punta Cana (terrible). The RIU Parties are simply awesome. Very lively, very fun! FOOD- Best in Cancun that I've had, as I said compared to others above. I was really impressed with the buffet quality and variation. We are kinda picky eaters. They season their food very good. The other restaurants, like Kabuki was fun and really good. Been to some like Barcelos that was really not good. But whoever runs Food here needs to get a bonus! SERVICE- found them to be very accommodating. In general, they are very hard and polite people here in CanCun. MoonPalace was worst out of the ones we have stayed in. The food quality here made up for some of the inconveniences from the room issues.

Lost my Tilley hat
So third time here at palace peninsula. Why come here ? Well for the price you pay you get great value. You get a unique location with calmer water and Sandy beach. You get multiple pools friendly staff. You get awesome buffets and specialty restaurants. Nice lounge serving cold beer in bottles. Including light beer for those cutting calories ! The rooms have a tub in the middle which is weird. Never used that myself but the ac works good has a fridge with assorted beverages and an optics station. Never used that either. Preferred the bar maid variety. One last thing though is I lost my Tilley hat. Left it by the pool went back for it and it was gone. Checked lost and found daily but no one turned it in. Was my dad’s hat who’s no longer with us so that was a bummer. Otherwise had a great time. Visit the other Riu’s as well while out and about. Enjoy this place ! If you see my hat let me know ! Has my dad’s name in the inside. dc100@rogers.com

Fantastic Resort
The staff was very friendly and accommodating! They made my birthday feel very special! The food and the drinks were great as well. There were a lot of different options so you could eat whatever you wanted. The rooms were very clean and surprisingly quiet. The mattress in my room was a little more firm than I would've liked it, but it was comfortable enough to get some sleep. I highly recommend staying at this resort for your trip to Cancun!
