    Excellent hotel!

    We loved this hotel, the room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very courteous. The location is amazing, right in the middle of everything. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, it had a lot of selections. Of course the rooftop was incredibly. We would gladly recommend and stay again without a doubt!

    Disappointing Stay at RIU Hotel Madrid

    Disappointing Stay at RIU Hotel Madrid While the RIU Hotel in Madrid looks nice from the outside, our stay was far from pleasant. We were assigned a room near the elevator, and the constant noise from it made it very difficult to sleep, especially for our children. Despite bringing this to the hotel’s attention, we received no assistance or compensation. On our second night, we were disturbed by a strange noise in our room. A handyman was sent to investigate while our children were sleeping, but again, there was no apology or explanation, and no effort to make things right. Additionally, the hotel feels quite old and outdated, with thin walls and worn fixtures. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we expected much better customer service for the price. We won’t be returning.

    Great location and fantastic hotel!

    My Mum and I did a short city break in Madrid. The hotel was fantastic. From our initial arrival, right through to collecting our luggage after check out, all staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Great shower in ensuite. Fantastic variety of food at breakfast. Views from the 360 rooftop bar are not to be missed. Great service leaving luggage in storage before checking in and after checking out. Great location for the city that waits to be explored. Definitely recommend the Riu Plaza.
