Laid back family friendly all-inclusive.
Wonderful family friendly all inclusive hotel. This magnificent teen story hotel right on the beach in Cancun is well maintained an kept immaculately clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Edgar at the omelette station in the buffet is an artist with the eggs! The food at all the restaurants was delicious! Make your reservations early to insure you get a spot. If you are looking for wild nightlife, this is not the place for you. But they had a very nice band in the lobby bar reach night.

If you want a budget resort and timeshare pressure this is your place.......
I'm so baffled after reading all these reviews and then actually staying at this "luxury" resort. Let me preface by saying the staff carries this place, its not management or ownership for sure. The staff were amazing at all times. Recently remodeled ? I don't see where. The lobby lounge still has seats from the 80's. it was impossible to go anywhere with out them trying to recruit you for their timeshare program. They wont even serve you a mimosa before 11am unless you do the timeshare. Keep in mind on my birthday I was willing to pay them 170$ US for a bottle of champagne and they wouldn't let me purchase it until 11. But they would give me TWO bottles if I attended the breakfast. Ridiculous and scammy to say the least. Got stuck in a broken elevator on my birthday. We had to get our key cards replaced to get in our room SEVEN TIMES in two days. It's also billed as a family resort but they have super scantily clad girls in thongs twerkin with kids at the pool ? They really need to pick a lane. The pool is also way too crowded and they way over book the resort. You feel like you need to rush through meal because others need the tables even at the buffet. The app was so bad to make dinner reservations so I just bribed the staff to get me in each night. It was bad I actually just had to laugh about it. It was my first and last time staying in Cancun. I've been to multiple all inclusives in the Yucatan and this one was the worst.

Always a great experience!
This is our favorite hotel in Cancun; the staff is great and food delicious. It is a familiar environment and clean and safe. Special shout out to Angel in Las Fuentes restaurant. Angel was always very attentive and made us feel special. Even though we were a big group of 11 he had a big table ready for us every night. Cesar Alberto in the snack bar was everyday kind and making sure we had a great time enjoying the delicious hamburgers and hot dogs. Thanks to Vero and Mary in housekeeping as well, as it was very nice to come back to a clean room with a nice touch that showed that we were special. We cannot wait to return to the Royal Solaris again!

Beautiful hotel. Hope to visit again one day.
Beautiful hotel, very clean. Staff are attentive and there are plenty of things to do. Kids club is great. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and the reservation system is very fair and easy to navigate. The hotel has an app that is very helpful to know schedules for activities and booking restaurants. The performances in the theatre each evening are great. The hotel doctor service is wonderful - friendly, quick and easily accessible. Also there are pharmacies that bring medication to the hotel.
