Apr 25, 2025Unforgettable Family Fun at Royalton Splash Punta Cana!
We just got back from our first stay at Royalton Splash Punta Cana, and we’re already planning to go back! This resort was the perfect balance of fun, relaxation, and family-friendly vibes. From day one, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Huge thanks to our butler Edwin, who went above and beyond—so much so that we had to grab a selfie with him before we left! The entertainment crew by the pool was incredible, keeping the energy high with games, music, and laughter every day. Our kids loved the water park, and the foam and floatie parties were a blast. There was a fun Easter egg hunt for the little ones, and evenings brought amazing shows like the fire performance and a lively white party. We enjoyed trying a different restaurant each night, and the food and coffee were consistently great. We loved strolling through the resort and spotting wildlife, or simply relaxing by the pools and taking in the white sand beach and turquoise waters. The staff were warm and friendly, and the short ride from the airport made everything super easy. Plus, as Canadians, we appreciated the familiar crowd—it’s clearly a favorite spot. This resort has something for everyone, and it made for a truly unforgettable family vacation. We highly recommend it!

The best resort in Punta Cana
I can't say enough about this resort. The staff are all very friendly and willing to help. You are greeted with smiles and friendly words always. The activity staff are so great to talk to and very kind shout out to JJ and Miguel for keeping us entertained. The concierge staff Yatna Elian and Maria were so kind in trying to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The grounds are very clean the housekeeping staff have always done such an amazing job keeping our room clean and full of amenities. There was always someone to find to help you get what you need in the buffet as well 3 omelet stations going so people did not have to wait a long time for breakfast. Today is our last day here, this is our 6th time back and can honestly say there are many more trips here in our future. Great Job Royalton Splash!

Family stay at Spash
We had a nice stay at the Royalton Splash. Elvin was extremely helpful and made our trip smooth and enjoyable. We've had butler service in the past at other resorts and Elvin went above and beyond! The only thing I'd change would be to stay at the Punta Cana resort rather than Splash, which was further from the beach and not quite as luxurious as the Punta Cana one.

We stayed recently at Royalton splash punta cana as diamond club guests. I would have loved to give a 10/10 all aspects yet some stars lost on issue we had with pre-selection of our room. I paid in advance for a room in which was under construction. When we arrived, they gave me a different room number, I then asked why not the room I prepaid for. Then is when they said room was under construction. This should have been pre-addressed. They gave us a room that was not comparable for two nights. In that time, we had issues with our shower. They then moved us to another room which also had issue's with its shower. Finally, on our 3rd last night, we were moved to presidential suite. That should have happened at start of week. I spent from Sun-Wed wasting my valuable family time dealing with room woes. So in that area they get two stars. Our butler Elvin was absolutely amazing. He was able to get me into all of my reservations with restaurants I needed. He got me a gluten free card for the buffets. He went above and beyond always and was in constant connection with us. We actually didn't know how available he actually was yet also wanted him to have some of his time outside of his resort hours. He made sure all of our requests and needs were met. I only hope all butler's are as great as him. He actually made me negative experience with rooms less of an issue by bringing my spirits up in other ways. I was in daily contact with the chefs in the buffets as well to have my gluten free meals prepared. Even the a la carte restaurants really worked with me to have meals made that I could eat. Francis at the Mexican restaurant was phenomenal with my kids and I. Bladimir at Italian restaurant was also super amazing with our family. We ate at Hunters, Grazie, and Gourmet Mache on Punta Cana side and found the food great. We were super sad to learn that the VR room was indefinitely closed. Big reason we chose the resort. We also depending who was working in the Waterpark had to have my 6yo son miss out on slides as although he was exact height for slides. Some allowed him on and some didn't. I understand that's a safety concern but hard when there was inconsistency and he would be allowed on different occasions. Night life and entertain was hands down best on the Punta Cana side. Of the theater events there, it was phenomenal yet on splash side the stage events were lack luster. If we went again, I'd need to know I'd for sure get the presidential suite and would want Elvin again as our butler. Bali beds were too difficult to book, and due to the disruption with room at start of week, I missed out on using my coupons as a DC guest in the spa and such. We spent a lot of time in the one pool near restaurants on splash side because it was convenient for family with us yet when we wanted to use other pool, guests I think caused it to close a couple times. In the buffet during the day and evenings, it can be hard to be served drinks. So often we would grab our own. I wish there was more day time activities for younger kids spread throughout the resort. DC guests got use of robes and slippers in the room. I found the slippers great for me as I wore then my whole weeks stay. Some maids made such cool animals with towels and flowers and some didn't. Our butler made sure our fridge was always stocked with drinks the kids and I enjoyed. Im not a huge drinker, but an abundance of options was always available for consumption at bars and restaurants. Aside from the resort. My husband did end up having issues with Wendy's at airport prior to departure. So eat there at your own risk. Duty free stores were abit overpriced. So be sure to bring extra cash or don't forget your sunglasses, floaties, etc.

Great experience and trip I would go back
The trip was amazing joselito, dark sexy chocolate, miguel from vibe team Jan the bar tender where amazing 10 out 5 stars they made sure to include us in events and always making sure we were in great moods, best bartender Jan made sure we always had a drink and great service. They all went above and beyond. Highly recommend.
