Lovely place. The staff are all very friendly, be prepared for a welcoming Hola! as you pass them in the facilities. Wanted to give a shout-out to Cristy at the ShowTime Bar and Kelvin and Anyelo at Manatees for making my wife and I feel so welcome!

Beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere, services, beach, pools, entertainment
The hotel is beautiful and new, the rooms are great, modern and clean. A beautiful beach that is maintained every day, great pools that have bars with sunbeds. I loved them. A wonderful view from the lounger in the pool by the bar on the sea, palm trees and the beach. A beautiful beach with palm trees, plenty of sunbeds. There was excellent food in the Market Café, as well as in the Oceana restaurant. Coco Café has an excellent variety of coffees, cakes and ice cream. However, if you don't want to spend 3 hours at dinner, avoid the Portofino restaurant. I would definitely return to Secrets Tides Punta Cana. Everything was great, except for the Portofino restaurant, but that's the only fault this hotel has. Also, the entertainment every evening was great. The silent party was the best event during our stay.

The resort is beautiful so the amenities. My Butler was amazing always provided things that I needed. The major negative of this resort is their food product was very poor. I’m not a food snobby either. I’ve been to 10 other all-inclusive resorts and this one had to be one of the worst when it came to food. it didn’t match my expectations of a secret resort. That was a major disappointment for me and my wife

Exceptional! We will return!
The Secret Tides Resort is exceptional. It exceeded our expectations. The staff are hard working people to make sure you had a great vacation. The entertainment was great! Say Hello to Sugar and Harry Potter as part of the entertainment staff. There was a great variety of food and drinks!

Food much better then I expected.
My stay at Secret’s Tide Punta Cana was much better than I expected! I knew it would be beautiful and modern, from seeing all the photos online. It was clean and well designed with many comfortable amenities. The staff here is amazing, they are on top of everything and checking to make sure that everything is up to standard. The Dominican people are very warm and friendly. What surprise me was how good the food was, there was so many bad reviews that I had low expectations. The food at the buffet was the best, many great choices, extremely fresh and cooked very well. The food in the restaurants was excellent, the selection was small. The restaurants were beautiful and elegant, the food was served on beautiful plate. Overall a great experience and service in the restaurants. Almost everything was cooked to perfection, there were a couple of things that were not cooked well. But there were so many choices that if we found one thing we didn’t like we chose something else to eat. The only thing that can be improved are the desserts. Many of the desserts lacked flavor and texture. I’m a baker myself, the desserts tasted like they do not use much butter, cream, or sugar. There were many dessert choices and so I was able to find ones that I enjoyed. The staff was amazing, I would like to thank Mercedito our butler who was very friendly and attentive, Mercedes, the dining concierge,and the friendly entertainment staff of sugar, JC and Chico. There were some hiccups, our room was not ready when we arrived after 3 PM. We requested certain things in our room prior to arriving and they were not there when we arrived. Room service was not consistent, one day we ran out of towels, another day we ran out of coffee pods. Some days they didn’t clean the room till very late in the day. The good thing is once we notified our butler of the issue, within minutes they were at our door replacing the items. The preferred club pool area was extremely disappointing, it was a area that gets very shady in the afternoon, they had too many chairs in a small area, and everyone was on top of each other. Because of that, it was very messy and crowded. Even the bar wasn’t that special. The pool and bar area of the rest of the resort is much nicer. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely want to return. I would highly recommended Secrets Tide.
