At Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, kids ages 3-12 will have a blast with all the fun-filled activities at the Explorer’s Club for Kids. All Explorer’s Club staff is certified by the Red Cross in CPR for children, designed to entertain the little ones with different programs based on science, nature and exploration.The program offers the following fully-supervised activities daily so mom and dad can have some alone time and peace of mind:

Apr 25, 2025Wonderful Experience-Great food. Lovely staff. Amazing beaches and super fun pool
Fantastic resort! Upon arrival we were a bit worried because our check-in was a bit scattered, but our opinions quickly changed once we were settled. Food was amazing, rooms were huge with turn down service every night. Entertainment was amazing each night with Aldo being absolutely outstanding with his entertaining abilities. Resort is a bit dated, but you manage to look past all that once you see the restaurants that are offered and the friendly staff always smiling and offering to assist.

Great family vacation. Good location, variety of food options. Staff is very helpful and polite. Building is old but is what we expected for the price. At check in avoid the vacation club pressure for free breakfast and activities it is a three hour sales pitch. Overall we were very happy with our stay. All ages had fun.

Dirty and cold pool, outdated rooms, and terrible food that forced us to eat off-resort after two days. The only upside is the beachfront location. Hyatt salespeople are like vultures in the lobby. The resort needs major TLC. Do not recommend.

Nope. Never again.
Christian and the entire entertainment team where great. Beach is good but minimal chairs. Food sucked . Also sucked that kids can't get snacks and come back to their chairs. Long lines for everything, they need to hire more servers. Bed horrible. Pillows horrible. All around not a great experience. Hardly any kid activities. Will nit be back! 2 star resort at best.

Don’t pay extra for sun club. I called multiple times for a mini bar restock and only got it once after my third call that day. Put my books and bags on a chair while I went to the bathroom, and less than 5 minutes later I came back to them gone. I’m out two books and a bag. I was cut in front of several times at check in. It took over and hour to get checked in.
