    Great location

Stayed here in March. Yes the hotel is dated but very clean and great location. I had a superior garden room near the pool which I loved. The food is very good somerhing for everyone unless you are ultra picky. The staff are efficient like any hotel some who stand out. If you are polite, friendly to them you get polite friendly back. Evening entertainment most nights was good and enjoyable. The beach at Sandy Lane is fab and good place to snorkel from beach or venture out on an excursion for a better experience. Try an get an early departure as the main areas for snorkelling get very busy. Ive been to Barbados many times and stayed in various locations but feel this was the best by far for me travelling for the first time on my own. Thank you Club Barbados .

    Very Nice

The resort is very nice. However it is small and NOT what we thought it might be. The pictures make it seem bigger than what it is. The only other all inclusive resort we have done was in Cancun with a very large and had many more amenities. The all inclusive fees($185 each per night + resort fees $50 a day) were very high in our opinion. So for the money, I thought it was not a good value compared to what we had previously. The food was good(not great) and plentiful. They were out of chicken wings from their snack menu for the first 3 days we were there. Service was pretty good. Just one evening we waited for 25 minutes for our dessert. Lack of direct access to the beach was a little inconvenience. You have to walk about 200-300 yards to get on the sandy beach. Pools were small but nice with plenty of lounge chairs. That being said, Barbados is BEAUTIFUL and the weather was nearly perfect. We had a very relaxing vacation.

Beware it is an Older Resort and Do not look like the pictures that on the website.

The resort was not what I expected. The room I had was really old and not up to the standard I am used too. The bathroom sink had cork on the sides and the patio did not open like it showed on the pictures. The air conditioning went out the first night. I was moved to another unit under the old one and it was not any better. Had toilet issues which over flowed and messed up our disposal sheets and my room mates shoes. The patio was really dirty and I did not get to sit out there for any of the trip. The Lounge chairs had bird poo all on it and just too dirty to go out there. The door had a opening in it and was unsafe so at night had to put a chair in front of it to feel secure. Due to all the issues I have to say I would not go back. They did try to accommodate us by offering free massage and that was wonderful but overall I was just not happy with the room. Just beware that this resort is older and in need of updating before you go. I would not offer it to my family or friends due to my experience.

    GREAT VALUE ALL INCLUSIVE

We have just returned from the second leg of our Caribbean holiday at Club Barbados which was recommended to us by our Virgin Holidays consultant, when booking. We had a great time in what is a prime west coast location, within walking distance of outstanding beaches and our favourite restaurants, despite being all inclusive. Our only concerns were that we found service hit and miss at times and we must have had a poor maid who failed to keep our room clean. Generally a great vibe, superb food and stunning sunset location. Offers very good value compared with other more notable west coast hotels. Would we go back....? YES!
