Amazing stay but needs improvement at shows
I had an incredible stay with my friends, the staff was so friendly, Roberto, Dilis, Mike, Ian, and I can’t remember everybody else’s name, but all of you did amazing job during the day! My only issue was at night when the show time came, even tho the aerials were incredible, I feel like I was watching a one man show… the choreographer has a serious “only me” issue, you have to let everybody shine, yet she is the only center in every number… a little repetitive and tiring if you ask me. There is one specific show with theme of “rock” that was seriously sad to see everybody as a back up dancer for her. Other than that, food at the a la carte was great, specially viva cafe, room is small but very comfortable, activities were so much fun, specially bingo with Roberto!

Great Family Vacation - Fun Entertainment, But Some Room for Improvement
I recently stayed at this resort for 4 days with my 9-year-old, and we had a fantastic time! The weather was perfect, the beach was stunning, and the resort had so many activities for kids and adults alike. The highlight of our trip was definitely the entertainment staff—Carlos and Dilis were absolutely incredible! They brought so much energy and fun to every event, and they made sure all the kids (and adults!) were having a great time. My child couldn’t stop talking about the games and shows, and I was so impressed with how friendly and engaging the entire entertainment team was. That said, there were a couple of things that could be improved. I wasn’t a fan of the connecting rooms. While it’s a convenient option for larger families, it unfortunately doesn't have great soundproofing. We could hear everything going on next door, including conversations and doors slamming early in the morning or late at night, which made it tough to relax or sleep. Also, while the buffet was convenient, I do wish there was more variety. Even though we were only there for a short 4-day stay, the food options felt very repetitive from day to day. Despite those minor issues, we had a great experience and made some amazing memories and friends. I’d definitely recommend this resort for families—just consider requesting a non-connecting room and prepare for a bit of repetition in the dining options.

Beautiful trip
This was our second time at the resort, but this time we brought our parents and another family. The resort is ideal because it’s small; kids can wander a bit and you never feel lost. First off, a few people that helped make our stay better were Camal, Leroy, and Franklyn. These individuals really go above and beyond for guest experience and are simply amazing humans. If you like to snorkel, the reef off the resort is so cool. We swam for hours and hours without the limitations of a catamaran trip. The rooms are clean, the beach is amazing, and no fighting for beach chairs. There were a couple things that changed from last year that I have to mention. The buffet was very repetitive from lunch to dinner. The food is good, it just gets boring. The every other day cruisers landing on the beach was new and strange… I get that it’s a good money maker for the resort, but after they left on Tuesday, it took a couple days for the liquor to be replenished. The drinks we had looked forward to they no longer had. We were in Cuba a couple months ago and experienced no shortages, so that was very surprising. From last year the animation has definitely decreased in quality. Seems like a smaller group that have to do more. All in all, it’s a place we love to go. It’s beautiful, it’s simple, but if we’re not paying Cuba prices, I really don’t expect Cuba shortages. Maybe if the cruisers continue, better planning is required. My only other complaint is one very aggressive beach vendor. The ladies that pay to be on the property are lovely, there is one who doesn’t and is so pushy. Even calls you out if you buy from someone else or have someone else braid your child’s hair. I asked and was told the beach is public so not much they can do… We will likely be back, but I hope they fix the kinks. Our group grew from four last year to nine people this year. Hopefully we will continue to share this property with more friends and family.

Bahamas Always Has my Heart ❤️
My fourth time to the Bahamas but second time to Viva Wyndham. Some staff remembered us from when we visited 7 years before! Love how fast it is to get to the hotel from the airport especially travelling with children. Hotel room was fine, its simple, cleaned daily, towels changed. Shower pressure was a bit slower but this is not what we came for. FOOOD and drinks is #1 Well flavoured and we love the desserts! January is a breezy time to visit and cools down at night requiring a jacket. Shows are excellent especially the Lion King special. The Italian a la.cartes portion sizes are huge. I'd definitely come back since I feel comfortable and we love the beach. The snack bar at the beach is the best I've seen since there is so much variety! We will see you again Freeport
